Harm Reduction Treatment Model:Practical Exploration Of Community Drug Rehabilitation Social Work

Under the policy guidance of the National Program for Community Drug Treatment and Community Rehabilitation(2016-2020),S City introduced anti-drug social work services to community drug treatment(rehabilitation)workstations through government purchase of social work services to help community drug treatment(rehabilitation)work and achieved good service effects.In the practice of social work of community drug rehabilitation,the drug abuse problem of community drug rehabilitation personnel is closely related to their personal status,family problems and environmental background.Harm reduction treatment mode is a detoxification method of practice,the model that the occurrence of drug problems tend to be personal mood,mental state,environmental factors such as the result of the interaction of drug is important to stimulate motivation,promote the change and know the root causes behind the drug use,in order to suit the remedy to the case,deal with the drug problem and individual treatment drugs behind the real damage.This paper studies the application of harm-reduction treatment mode in the community drug rehabilitation case service.Taking the social work case service of P community drug rehabilitation workstation as an example,it adopts the methods of investigation,participatory observation and in-depth interview to study the applicability and effect of harm-reduction treatment mode in the community drug rehabilitation practice.In practice,this paper mainly starts with a social work case of community drug abuse,and shows the intervention process of harm reduction treatment mode.In the relationship building stage,the case showed low motivation for drug abstinence,did not think that the individual needed drug abstinence,and did not have enough understanding of the causes of drug abuse.Anti-drug social work services in case the application of harm reduction treatment mode to promote change,known problems and practice reduced harm three program method,case detoxification of intrinsic motivation,give play to the role of case for the rehabilitation of main body,to assist the case for focusing on the root causes behind the drug use,case meth,caused by the adverse emotional and mental state,The deeper reason is the psychological trauma in the early years of the case.When the case was a child,his father was addicted to gambling,which led to financial ruin,family tension and other problems.The case’s normal life and study were disrupted,and then he dropped out of school and entered the society.Through the intervention of the case,the goal of stimulating the internal motivation of the case,promoting the positive change of the case,identifying the root problem of drug abuse,promoting the action of reducing the harm of the case and completing the task of drug rehabilitation in the community was finally achieved.By applying the harm-reduction treatment mode in the social work case service of P community drug rehabilitation workstation,the anti-drug social worker evaluated the service effectiveness and practical operation process.After summarizing and reflecting,the anti-drug social worker believed that the harm-reduction treatment mode provided a set of specific practical operation methods for the community drug rehabilitation case service.It is helpful to promote the positive change of drug addicts in the community,to know the problem of drug abuse,and to reduce the harm in practice,so as to achieve the goal of reducing the harm of drug treatment,and at the same time,it also provides some practical operation modes for reference for the future research of drug rehabilitation in the community.
