Since the 1980 s,the development of urbanization has attracted a large number of rural surplus labor force into the city,resulting in the migrant children in the process of family migration.In recent years,the number of children has been increasing.Since the relevant national policies have alleviated the “difficulty in going to school” of the migrant children,following are the problems of academic adaptation,identity and interpersonal communication,which have become the focus of people’s attention.This paper focuses on the core issue of “the influencing factors of children’s educational integration”,and takes social integration theory as the main theoretical basis to construct the framework of educational integration research,Using the method of questionnaire survey,1,593 children from five compulsory education schools in three provinces was selected for the study.And some of the children and teachers were interviewed.This paper studies the present situation and the influencing factors of the educational integration of the migrant children.First of all,the present situation of migrant children’s educational integration was studied.This part is divided into two parts to conduct research.The first part is the general analysis of the four aspects of cultural integration,academic integration,interpersonal integration and psychological integration.Then the second part is to analyze the difference of the present situation of the migrant children’s educational integration.The second part is to study what are the factors that affect the educational integration of migrant children and how they affect them.For the influencing factors of the migrant children’s educational integration,the research is carried out from three aspects: students’ personal factors(gender,grade,moving time,identity management strategy,etc.),family factors(family social and economic status,parents’ educational support,etc.)and school factors(school environment).On the basis of regression analysis,path analysis is used to explore the indirect influencing factors of educational integration.Finally,according to the conclusions of the study,some measures are put forward to promote the educational integration.The study found some important conclusions: the educational integration the whole is above the average level,the average value is 3.92.The integration level of each dimension is slightly different,among which the lowest value is academic integration,with an average value of 3.43.The levels of cultural integration,interpersonal integration and psychological integration increased successively,with an average of 4.03,4.04 and 4.14,respectively.There are significant differences in the present situation of the educational integration of the children in the following three aspects: individual,family and school.From an individual point of view,the integration level of girls is higher than that of boys,the educational integration of migrant children in primary schools is better than that of children in junior high schools,and the educational integration of migrant children born locally is better than that of children born in other provinces or other cities.From the perspective of family,the educational integration level of those whose family economy is above the middle level is higher than that of those whose family economy is below the middle level.The children of farmers have the highest academic integration level.From the school,the teaching method of group cooperative learning is more conducive to the integration of education.The influence of personal characteristics on the educational integration of migrant children is small,the standardized regression coefficients of grade,moving type and class leader in personal characteristics are-0.08,-0.03 and 0.09,respectively.While the influence of identity management strategy is greater.,and the standardized regression coefficients of individual mobility strategy,social competition strategy and social creation strategy in identity management strategy are 0.28,0.16 and 0.08,respectively.Parental educational support has a direct impact on educational integration,and the direct effect value of standardization is 0.21.And family socioeconomic status has an indirect impact on the educational integration.Family socioeconomic status affects parents’ educational support and further influences educational integration,the indirect effect value is 0.05.School environment has a direct and indirect effect on the educational integration.Perceived discrimination plays a mediating role between school environment and educational integration.The direct effect value of school environment on the educational integration is 0.31,and the indirect effect value is 0.15.The research puts forward targeted policy suggestions: parents should clarify their main responsibility,do a good job of guardianship,increase the time spent with their children,actively create opportunities,and provide educational support for their children;The school should create a diversified and integrated school environment,and the teachers and students should work together to create a fair environment and reduce discrimination.The migrant children should actively integrate,rationally use the identity management strategy,break the previous stereotype,actively change the standard of self-evaluation,and improve the sense of self-efficacy.
