The student-mentoring relationship is an important part of the educational relationship in graduate education.The quality of the student-mentoring relationship has a direct and profound impact on the quality of graduate education.However,there are some alienation phenomena in the relationship between students and students in graduate education in our country.There are frictions and contradictions between students and students,which have a negative impact on the quality of graduate education.Therefore,we should think deeply about the existing problems and the reasons behind the relationship between students and students in the current graduate education in our country,and explore the countermeasures and ways to establish a good relationship between students and students.This research is based on the importance and practical needs of constructing high-quality mentoring relationships.Under the guidance of symbiosis theory,through questionnaires and interviews,it explores the current situation,existing problems and influencing factors of mentoring relationships in graduate education in my country.Some mentors conducted interviews with managers,and then put forward relevant improvement countermeasures to provide practical reference for the optimization of the inducing relationship.First,on the basis of literature review,this study clarified the basic elements of symbiosis theory as symbiosis unit,symbiosis environment,and symbiosis mode,and explained the compatibility of symbiosis theory with the connotation of induced relationship,and the symbiosis theory optimized the induced relationship.It discusses the applicability of the symbiosis theory to the study of the inducing relationship.At the same time,this research defines the specific connotation of the student-student relationship in my country’s graduate education as academic guidance relationship,cooperative relationship,and harmonious interpersonal relationship.The academic guidance relationship includes four dimensions: academic norm guidance,scientific research ability guidance,practical ability guidance,and evaluation and supervision;the cooperative relationship includes three dimensions of co-authored scientific research results,scientific research project cooperation,and transactional cooperation;the harmonious interpersonal relationship includes equality,respect,Four dimensions of justice and caring.Second,this research self-developed questionnaire,the subject of the survey is national postgraduate students,and 1085 questionnaires were distributed,of which1043 were valid questionnaires.Through the descriptive analysis and difference analysis of the questionnaire data,it is found that the current status of the student guidance relationship in postgraduate education in my country is:(1)The student guidance relationship is relatively good,but there are differences in demographic variables;(2)Guidance The student cooperation relationship is insufficient and needs to be strengthened;(3)The interpersonal harmonious relationship between the students is better,but there are differences in demographic variables,and the tutors do not care enough for graduate students.At the same time,there are the following problems in the mentoring relationship in postgraduate education in my country:(1)The mentoring relationship does not fully reflect the characteristics of the graduate education stage;(2)The tutor has insufficient academic guidance for graduate students,which is manifested in the one-sidedness of the tutor’s guidance content and the tutor ’ s teaching according to their aptitude Insufficient;(3)Insufficient cooperation in the guidance of students,which is manifested in the lack of opportunities for student guidance and insufficient cooperation depth;(4)Inadequate care for graduate students.Third,this research conducted an in-depth exploration of the influencing factors of the mentoring relationship through interviews with 10 postgraduate students.Specifically:(1)The affinity of the tutor,the degree of understanding of job responsibilities,and the guiding philosophy will have an impact on the mentoring relationship(2)The professional foundation of graduate students,the initiative of learning and scientific research,and the initiative to interact with tutors will have an impact on the mentoring relationship;(3)The mentoring two-way selection system and mentor management system will have an impact on the mentoring relationship;(4)The organizational culture of teachers and students will have an impact on the relationship between students and students.Fourth,based on the application of the symbiosis theory in the study of the mentoring relationship,combining the problems and influencing factors in the mentoring relationship,this research puts forward suggestions and countermeasures for optimizing the mentoring relationship from the institutional level,the tutor level,the graduate level,and the cultural level..At the same time,interviews were conducted with 5 mentors and 2 managers to explore suggestions and countermeasures for optimizing the inducing relationship from their perspectives to ensure that the countermeasures are scientific and feasible.(1)Strengthen system guarantees,specifically: reform the two-way selection system for student guidance,so that the two-way selection of student guidance is based on a full understanding;it is necessary to improve the mentor management system,that is,strictly implement the scientific mentor admission system and improve The mentor replacement system,the implementation of a flexible mentor withdrawal mechanism,and the optimization of the mentor evaluation system.(2)Mentors should improve their own guiding ability,specifically: to enhance the awareness of job responsibilities and enhance education awareness;to actively establish correct guiding concepts;to enhance their own affinity.(3)Graduate students must improve their own initiative,specifically: increase the initiative of learning and scientific research;increase the initiative of interacting with tutors.(4)To build a benign organizational culture of teachers.
