Research On College Admission System Of National Southwest United University

Undergraduate enrollment system is an important part of the higher education system in the Republic of China.The undergraduate enrollment system connects secondary and higher education and is a way for colleges and universities to select outstanding talents.Southwest United University has trained a large number of talents in the difficult war environment,and some scholars still play an important role today.Therefore,Southwest United University’s undergraduate admission system can be used as an important reference for today’s universities.In 1938,Southwest United University began its first enrollment.It wasn’t until 1945 that Southwest United University accepted the last students and completed eight years of enrollment at Southwest United University.Based on the historical analysis method and literature analysis method,this paper analyzes the background,examination content and admission situation of the undergraduate enrollment system in various stages,and combines the current enrollment reform in order to find reference and inspiration.This paper takes the enrollment system of Southwest United University as the research object,mainly introduces the formation and evolution of the enrollment system of colleges and universities from the end of Qing Dynasty to the pre-Japanese War,and summarizes the evolution and characteristics of the enrollment system of Beijing University,Tsinghua University and Nankai University.From the time stage,the enrollment system of Southwest United University is divided: unified enrollment system and diversified enrollment system.This paper analyzes the background of Southwest University under the unified enrollment system,the relevant enrollment documents,the recruitment institutions,the content of the examination and the specific situation of admission.Also analyzed in the context of the abolition of the unified enrollment system,the Southwest United Nations University adopted a joint enrollment,independent enrollment,entrusted enrollment of the diversified admission system of the admission examination and admission of the specific situation.Thus,the overall characteristics and enlightenment of the enrollment system of southwest United Nations University are summarized.In general,the Southwest University adopts a flexible admissions system to recruit high-quality students.
