| School motto is not only the accumulation and refinement of the school in its development process,but also the spiritual core and soul of the school,as well as the concise summary of the school running philosophy and school running style.The school motto contains the expectations and requirements of the school for teachers and students,which can cultivate the common characteristics and spirit of the school.Strengthening the propaganda and cultural construction of the school motto can strengthen the educational function of the school motto,enhance the cohesion of the school,and better cultivate qualified socialist builders and reliable successors.Based on the research and analysis of the effectiveness of the motto culture education in 13 public universities in Guangxi,this paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,comprehensive induction and investigation to analyze the problems and reasons that affect the effectiveness of the motto culture education.Finally,according to the actual situation of the investigation,this paper puts forward some operable paths to improve the effectiveness of the motto culture education,In order to provide some reference for other universities in improving the effectiveness of school motto culture education.The main contents of this paper are as follows.First,the cultural education of school motto has the characteristics of infection,permeability,persistence and uniqueness.The study of cultural education of school motto is conducive to the inheritance of school motto,the shaping of students’ moral characteristics,the standardization of students’ behavior,and the implementation of moral education in schools.Second,through the investigation of these 13 public universities in Guangxi,we find that the current methods of educating people with school motto culture in Guangxi universities are as follows: first,strengthen the indoctrination education,strengthen the recognition of school motto by teachers and students;Second,we should pay attention to model education and strengthen the guidance for teachers and students;Third,we should attach importance to the influence of environment and strengthen the influence of school motto culture;Fourth,strengthen practical experience and improve the practice degree of school motto.Four achievements have been achieved: first,the educational concept of school motto culture has been continuously strengthened;second,the educational activities of school motto culture have been continuously deepened;third,the educational mode of school motto culture has been gradually improved;fourth,the educational effect of school motto culture has become more and more obvious.Third,it analyzes the five problems in the process of Education: first,the lack of top-level design specifically for the school motto culture education;second,the low level of school motto culture into the classroom;third,the weak education team,no joint force;fourth,the education methods are relatively single,the flexibility is not high;fifth,the lack of education carrier.There are five reasons for these problems: schools do not pay enough attention to the educational function of school motto culture,some educational subjects do not fully understand the connotation of school motto,the ability of educational subjects to use school motto to educate people is uneven,there is no unified assessment standard,and the linkage of relevant departments is not in place.Fourth,it mainly studies five ways to improve the effectiveness of school motto culture education.The first is to strengthen the top-level design,the second is to integrate into the process of classroom teaching and student management,the third is to strengthen the construction of education team,the fourth is to improve the methods of education,and the fifth is to enrich the carrier of education.In order to enhance the effectiveness of school motto culture education work to provide reference,so that we can really play the function and value of school motto culture education. |
