Research On The Development Dilemma And Countermeasures Of Olympic Water Sports Town In Rizhao City

As an emerging sunrise industry,the sports industry has burst with vitality in recent years.Under the active promotion of the state and provincial governments,various policy documents have been issued,which has intensified the development of the sports industry,but also promoted its development.The integration with other industries has formed sports tourist attractions with local characteristics in some places.As one of the first pilot sports-leisure towns in the country,the Olympic Water Sports Town of Rizhao City,based on its unique location advantages and relying on marine resources,actively promotes the common development of multiple sports towns.And it was successfully shortlisted in August 2017 The first batch of 96 sports characteristic towns in the country,have become the new business card of Rizhao sports tourism.The sports events,leisure tourism and medical health care business in the town are becoming new destinations for tourists,and they have played an important role in the development of the town.The role of the town has better promoted the economic development of the town.Through field research,this paper analyzes and studies the history and current development of the three types of business in the town,including sports events,leisure tourism,and medical care,and the operation mode of the town.It is found that the town still faces many difficulties in the recent steady development of the town.Through field investigation,interview and questionnaire survey methods,we interviewed the staff of the town,the citizens and tourists who came to play,and analyzed the current difficulties faced by the development of the sports town.Integration and found that the Olympic Water Sports Town of Rizhao City still faces the following difficulties in the development process:(1)The operation and management method is not perfect;(2)The integration of multiple business formats is not deep enough;(3)The water sports projects are not rich enough;(4)There is a lack of talents for grassroots projects;(5)The seasonal development is not balanced.In view of the current difficulties in the development of Olympic water sports towns,by drawing on the successful experience of the diving and water sports characteristic towns in Sanya City,the Davos sports town in Switzerland,and the Wimbledon sports town in the United Kingdom,as well as the use of logical analysis,Mathematical statistics and other methods put forward corresponding development countermeasures for the future of the town,including:(1)Improving the operation and management methods to achieve economic goals;(2)Strengthening the integration of business types to form an industrial chain;(3)Improving the key points of the town Business types,enriching characteristic projects;(4)Improving the talent training mechanism of the town to enhance specialization;(5)Compensating for seasonal development differences and ensuring the sustainable development of the town.This research hopes that through a field investigation of the Olympic water sports town in Rizhao City,the difficulties faced by the development of the sports town will emerge,and the future development countermeasures of the town will be explored,in order to provide reference for the cultivation and development of sports towns in the whole province and the country.For promoting the comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development of various sports towns in multiple formats,and provide certain literature and data support for the selection,application and construction of related sports town projects in the future.
