Cheerleading has developed rapidly since it was introduced into China in 2000.As a traditional cheerleading project,Pom has made continuous breakthroughs in artistic arrangement,difficulty completion and innovative design,but it does not pay enough attention to the selection of complete sets of music.At present,many Pom Cheerleading Coaches in our country are teachers of aerobics,gymnastics,rhythmic gymnastics and dance.They mainly focus on the arrangement and training of technical movements.They are less involved in the selection and collocation of complete sets of music.The international rules have higher requirements on the design,collocation and innovation of Pom music.Therefore,it is very important to explore the key points of Pom cheerleading music selection and collocation Yes.Using the methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire,video observation,comparative analysis,mathematical statistics and so on,this paper analyzes the top three music data of Pom in 2017-2019 cheerleading World Championships,analyzes the detailed requirements and precautions of international rules on Pom music,and analyzes the style,theme,musical form,speed,strength,opening and ending collocation of Pom music The conclusion is as follows:(1)In the rules of the international competition,nearly 30% of the scores are related to music.The attachment of the music rules requires that the Pom music should be positive and healthy,with novel design,appropriate duration and written authorization of the music copyright owner.Among them,the music that is popular,with prominent highlights and unified with the movements can get higher scores.(2)Case study shows that the music style of the Pom set is mainly disco.Since the US team added rap style to the music,rap has also become one of the styles of Pom music.In terms of music theme,the adjacent sections have rich levels and are generally passionate and unrestrained.In recent years,there are also more mysterious and humorous themes,but they occupy less time in the whole music.(3)The style of Pom music in the last three World Championships is all multi-paragraph parallel,and the number of paragraphs is controlled within 7-9,which tends to use contrast and variation techniques.In the way of singing,the choice of solo and pure music cross collocation to more chorus and chorus,the latter can highlight the warm and grand atmosphere of the scene.(4)After an obvious peak in 2018,the speed of the Pom music began to decline,and the teams of different countries stopped speeding up after they found the speed suitable for their own teams.The American team always kept a relatively fast music speed,but made obvious mistakes in the final,which showed that the music speed could not only be fast,but athletes’ physical fitness and movement range should be taken into consideration.(5)The audio materials of Pom music are mainly used at the beginning,paragraph transition,jump,rotation,chorus dance and the end."Cheer words" and "repetition of lyrics" were the most frequently used speech materials,followed by the repeated use of "country names" to enhance the audience response and athletes’ sense of honor,while electronic sound effects were dominated by drums,percussion and accent.(6)The opening form of Pom music mainly adopts the straight to the point and the gradual strengthening style to shorten the time to enter the preparation state;The form of the musical ending mainly uses the direct ending,which echoes before and after and is concise and concise.The question used in the ending music of the Mexican team in 2019 is relatively novel,but the presentation effect is not as crisp as the direct ending.(7)The development trend of Pom music selection mainly includes rich and reasonable track style,complete and seamless structure,prominent features of sound materials,combination of rhythm,strength and activity,perfect combination of music and action,enhancement of copyright legal awareness,etc.,the current popular and positive music should be selected to match with action to avoid background music.
