The fundamental goal of building a powerful country in sports in an all-round way is to do physical education that satisfies the people,which is a proposition of The Times that must be answered for the construction and development of physical education in colleges and universities.Cheerleading is a new sport in China.Because of its distinctive features,it is loved by the majority of teenagers.It has been listed as a public physical education course in many colleges and universities.In this paper,combined with the cheerleading unique project characteristics put forward the ritual performance teaching method,aimed to enrich the college cheerleading classroom,improve the teaching effect of college cheerleading elective course,the dissemination of cheerleading culture,cheerleading to contribute to the development of cheerleading.Firstly,the paper defines the connotation of the teaching method of ritual performance by using the method of literature and expert interview,and analyzes whether it is suitable for the Cheerleading project.Secondly,the experiment method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method are used to make a quantitative test of whether the teaching method of ritual performance is effective in the classroom.In addition,the semi-structured interview method is used to further verify the application effect of the ritual performance teaching method from the perspective of students’ subject status by analyzing the interviewed students’ texts.The results show that the method has a certain application effect.The specific results are as follows:1.Ritual performance teaching method is a teaching method that is suitable for performance projects by creating ritualistic performance situation and taking group competition as the basic organization form.In the process of organization,it mainly embodies the two dimensions of ritual performance and display performance,which has a certain application value in cheerleading exercises.2.Ritual performance teaching method is conducive to inducing students’ learning emotions and promoting students’ active involvement in learning.After the experiment,the students in the experimental class and the control class showed significant differences in learning emotions,among which,there were significant differences in the dimensions of vigor stimulation,physiological fatigue and active involvement(P < 0.05).3.Ritual performance teaching method can improve the performance of team cohesion of students.There were significant differences in the overall team cohesion between the experimental class and control class,and there were significant differences in group task attraction,group social attraction,group social consistency and group task consistency(P <0.05).4.Ritual performance teaching method is conducive to improving students’ basic movement and technical performance.No matter from the individual level or the group level,after the experiment,the total score of the basic motor performance of the students in the experimental class and the control class was significantly different(P < 0.05).In the refined scoring criteria,there were significant differences in the basic motor skills between the experimental class and the control class after the experiment(P < 0.05).5.Ritual performance teaching method is conducive to promoting students’ learning input.Based on the main axis coding analysis of the interviewed students’ texts,after the application of ritual performance teaching method,the students hold a satisfied attitude,and the cognitive investment,emotional investment and behavioral investment are high.
