Altruistic behavior is an important part of children’s social development and the formation of good personality, which plays an important role in children’s healthy growth. The"Guidelines for Kindergarten Education(Trial Implementation)" clearly points out in the social objectives:teachers in the daily teaching should pay attention to cultivate children willing to communicate with others, learn to help each other, cooperation, humility, sharing, compassionate and other qualities.Drama performance,as a form of performance, will make the behavioral contact between children more frequent,so there are more contention and contradiction, which makes teachers’ participation and guidance opportunities more.In performing games, children can present a natural state, and teachers can more easily observe their own and the real behavior in the process of communication with others. Therefore, the researcher set the research topic on the research of altruistic behavior in the drama performance activities of older children. This study took the senior class of the author’s kindergarten as the research object, and selected two senior classes with similar levels of altruistic behavior as the experimental subjects through the method of situational test, and divided them into experimental class and control class.Data analysis and observational study were conducted through pretest and post-test,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly, the overall altruistic behavior of older children is slightly above the medium level,The four dimensions of altruistic behavior were,in order of scores, comfort, help, cooperation, humility. In comparison, among the four kinds of altruistic behaviors of the older children, the comfort behavior developed best and the humble behavior developed worst.Secondly, drama performance can effectively promote the development of children’s altruistic behavior. There was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the pretest scores of altruistic behavior. The post-test differences between the experimental class and the control class showed that The total scores of altruistic behavior, helping others, courting, comforting and cooperative behavior in the experimental class were significantly higher than those in the control class. The total scores of altruistic behavior, helping others, humble, comfort and cooperative behavior in the post-test were significantly higher than those in the pretest. It was found that there were no significant differences between the four dimensions of helpfulness, humility, comfort, cooperation and the total score of altruistic behavior in the control class.Based on the research conclusions, the study puts forward the following suggestions:in the course of drama performance,we should pay attention to the development of humble behavior;expand the form of activities, avoid a single form of drama activities;pay attention to all children, can not ignore the children watching the performance;pay attention to regional drama performance, play children’s initiative;appropriate choice of intervention opportunity, effective intervention of children’s behavior;ingenious use of a variety of strategies to guide children’s behavior;different treatment of different situations, and children’s behavior should be correctly evaluated.
