| Chinese President Xi Jinping pointed out his speech at the National University Ideological and Political Council that college ideological and political work is related to three aspects: for whom,what kind of people to train and how to train people.Besides,as the backbone of ideological and political work in colleges and universities,it is also necessary to pay attention to how counselors’ ability directly affects the quality of ideological and political work.How to build a team of counselors with core qualities,namely excellent political quality,good teacher ethics,and superb professional ability,centering on the task of "cultivating people with moral integrity," has become a new requirement for the construction of instructor team.Compared with the overall quality,the core quality of counselors,firstly,can better reflect their professional level in the field of ideological and political work in colleges and universities;secondly,it can meet the requirements of The Times for the development of higher education.The construction of core qualities of college counselors in the new era should be based on practical work,keep up with the development trend of the times,temper political qualities,improve learning ability,form good psychological qualities,enhance team collaboration ability,display personality charm,and cultivate educational feelings.When solving the problem that restricts the core quality construction of college counselors,it is necessary to understand the root cause of the problem correctly and take corrective measures against the disease.This article aims to provide a theoretical basis and practical methods for the construction of the core qualities of college counselors and the construction of counselor teams in the new era.By investigating the actual situation of some college counselors in Shanxi Province,the problems and reasons for restricting the process of promoting the core quality of instructors are analyzed from six aspects: political quality,learning ability,psychological quality,teamwork,personality.In addition,the effective path of constructing and developing the core quality of college counselors is proposed from three aspects of strengthening political quality,improving teachers’ moral and enhancing professional ability,so as to lay a solid foundation for cultivating college counselors with core quality in the new era and realizing the lofty goal of "cultivating successors of socialism."... |
