The pre-school education major in higher vocational colleges is an important place to train teachers in preschool education institutions.In its talent training program,the post practice is taken as an important means to train students’ practical ability,to prepare students for a better career in early childhood education institutions.But how effective are the students of Preschool Education in Higher Vocational Colleges? In the internship process,what are the factors that affect the effectiveness of student internship? How to better help students to improve the effectiveness of on-the-job internship?Based on the above questions,the research takes the students of three higher vocational colleges in Shanxi Province as the research object,and collects 337 valid questionnaires by questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the effectiveness of students’ internship from three dimensions: Professional Idea and ethics,professional knowledge,and professional ability.In order to understand the effectiveness of students’ internship more deeply and truly,text analysis and interview are also used.At the same time,through the interviews of 13 students and the analysis of the student’s practice diary,practice summary and teaching reflection,the factors that affect the effectiveness of student’s practice on post are obtained,and the corresponding suggestions are put forward.The students’ professional ideas,professional ethics,professional knowledge and professional ability have been promoted,but there are still some problems.In the aspect of professional idea and teacher’s ethics,it deepens the understanding of the concept of children and education,the understanding of the profession of preschool teachers,and the importance of improving personal accomplishment In terms of professional knowledge: General Knowledge,childcare and education-related knowledge has been accumulated,but there are still loopholes,child development knowledge has been increasing;In the aspect of professional ability: students’ ability to create and use the material environment has been improved,children’s ability to organize and care for one day,children’s ability to communicate with children,ability to organize and evaluate one day,and ability to implement educational activities has been gradually enhanced.However,there are some problems in the aspects of how to build up teachers’ prestige,how to guide and support young children’s ability to develop regional games,how to apply theory to practice,and how to reflect and promote self-development,still needs to be improved.Through the analysis,it is found that the factors that affect the effectiveness of students’ internship come from three aspects.Students themselves: lack of professional knowledgereserves,lack of practical experience in preschool education institutions,lack of self-reflection ability,unclear future career planning;Higher Vocational Colleges: lack of centralized pre-job training,the number of practice instructors is insufficient and the intensity of practice guidance is insufficient,the curriculum is not perfect,it is difficult to meet the needs of students practice,to provide students with fewer opportunities for practice;INTERNSHIP UNITS: pre-job training is a mere formality,lack of pertinence,different treatment of management teachers,attention is not enough,internship guidance is simple and casual,not professional.And put forward relevant suggestions: Students: widely read books,expand knowledge reserves,put theory into practice,accumulate practical experience,strengthen self-reflection,improve reflection ability,set up lofty ideals,do a good job planning.Vocational colleges should focus on pre-post training,attach importance to practice guidance,strengthen the construction of practice guidance teachers,actively carry out curriculum innovation,strengthen campus integration and create practice opportunities.It is suggested that internship institutions should strengthen pre-job training,improve training quality,change management methods,provide students with fair opportunities,attach importance to internship guidance,and arrange experienced internship guidance teachers.
