Teachers are the first element to promote the development of vocational schools,and the promotion of teachers’ professional ability is the foundation and key of teachers’ team in secondary vocational schools.The research and analysis of secondary vocational school teachers’ professional ability is of great significance to understand the current situation of the development of teachers’ professional ability at the current stage and the practical difficulties faced by teachers and put forward targeted countermeasures,so as to improve the quality of education and teaching and promote the development of secondary vocational education.On the basis of combing a large number of literature at home and abroad,referring to the basic requirements of teachers’ professional ability in "secondary vocational school teachers’ professional standards(Trial Implementation)",the research focuses on Teachers’ teaching design ability,teaching implementation ability,practice and training organization ability,class management and education activity ability,education and teaching evaluation ability,communication and cooperation Through questionnaire and interview,data were collected,sorted out and analyzed from seven aspects of working ability,teaching research and professional development.The results show that:(1)the professional competence of secondary vocational school teachers is above the average level,but the scores of each dimension of teachers’ professional competence are quite different.Among them,the teachers’ practical training and practice organization ability scores the lowest in the teachers’ professional ability,which shows that the training practice organization ability is the weakest part of teachers’ professional ability.(2)The influencing factors such as teaching age,professional title,professional title,professional development ability and so on were found.Under the guidance of the theory of internal and external causes,this paper further analyzes the causes of the problems.On the one hand,the school fails to create an environment suitable for teachers’ professional ability improvement;on the other hand,teachers’ own professional ability development initiative is not strong,lack of reasonable planning;teachers’ professional knowledge structure is not complete,lack of professional background knowledge;teachers’ participation in enterprise practice is not ideal.Finally,based on the problems and reasons,this paper puts forward the "internal and external linkage" guiding strategy of teachers’ professional ability development: in the external environment,teachers should be fully and effectively encouraged and guaranteed,and schools are the supporters and guarantors of teachers’ professional ability development.Specifically,it is necessary to build a developmental teacher evaluation system and improve the teacher post service training system.From the perspective of internal factors,teachers are the main body of professional ability growth,and they should actively reflect and take positive actions.The first is to stimulate the endogenous power of teachers’ development and enhance their self-development awareness;the second is to improve and update the knowledge structure and optimize the teachers’ professional ability;the third is to innovate teaching research and practice through teaching reflection;the fourth is to enhance the awareness of professional development planning and management ability.
