With the development of the national economy and the advancement of urbanization,a variety of employment forms have appeared in the labor market,and the number of flexible employees has increased year by year.Although flexible employment has been included in the basic pension insurance system in China,the overall level of participation of flexible employment is not high,and there is still a high risk of retirement.Therefore,it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to research the issue of choosing the basic pension insurance for flexible employees.The thesis takes flexible employment as the research object,based on the Labor Market Segmentation Theory,Life Cycle Hypothesis,and Consumer Purchasing Behavior Theory.It focuses on the flexible employment selection of insurance issues and uses qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct research.The thesis is developed from four aspects.First,use Citespace software to perform quantitative analysis on the research literature of flexible employment personnel,and summarize the research status of flexible employment personnel endowment security at home and abroad.Secondly,based on the Labor Market Segmentation Theory,the characteristics of flexible employees in China are analyzed,and the pension policy and the scale of insurance coverage for flexible employees are sorted out and calculated.Third,a descriptive statistical analysis of the sample data based on the China Family Panel Studies database,and summarizes the main issues in choosing basic pension insurance for flexible employees.Finally,based on the Consumer Purchasing Behavior Theory,Quantitative analysis of influencing factors restricting flexible employment personnel to choose to participate in basic pension insurance.The thesis draws the following conclusions: The basic pension insurance policy,participation and transfer methods,and incentives are the issues that affect the employment of flexible employees.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the basic pension insurance of flexible employees.Secondly,flexible employment is affected by individual characteristics,policy perceptions,regional characteristics,family characteristics,insurance situation,and insurance trust.Among them,individual characteristics are deep-level influencing factors,regional characteristics and policy perceptions are middle-level influencing factors,and family characteristics,insurance participation trust,and insurance participation situation directly affect the insurance participation behavior of flexible employees.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen policies Publicity and the construction of the government’s credit system,ways to improve the professional skills of flexible employees,and improve the flexible employment mechanism to increase the enthusiasm of flexible employees.The innovation of the thesis is based on the empirical research of the China Family Panel Studies,and attempts to use the structure of interpretation structure to classify the influencing factors restricting the flexible employment personnel to participate in the insurance.Propose targeted countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem of flexible employment for the elderly.
