As a new visual technology, virtual panorama brings new vitality to educational innovation. The introduction of immersive panorama into video teaching is of great significance to improve the imbalance between cognition and emotion in video learning. However, previous studies have found that virtual environment itself is easy to cause dizziness, nausea and other discomfort problems;Secondly, how to give full play to the advantages of high fidelity and sense of presence of panoramic video to improve the emotional deficiency caused by too much emphasis on knowledge transmission in current video teaching, lack of guidance of relevant technical models, mostly theoretical concepts. Some studies have pointed out that understanding the relationship between technology, embodiment and learning will be an important research change. We can extend the body’s perception ability through immersive technology, and then deepen cognition to produce positive emotions. Therefore, based on the integration of panoramic video and primary school teaching, this study innovatively introduces embodied cognitive theory, puts forward emotional design model, and designs and develops panoramic video teaching project.Using the method of quasi experimental research, this paper makes a quantitative and qualitative data analysis on the learning results and emotional experience of fifth to sixth grade students watching panoramic and ordinary videos in Wuhan C primary school, and further explores the internal influence mechanism of different learning results on the basis of the results. The research content includes the following three aspects:First, from the perspective of technology and theory, this paper designs and develops the panoramic video teaching project for primary school students.Integrating immersive panoramic video with embodied cognitive theory.this paper proposes an emotional design model based on 3E.Aiming at the problem of simulator vertigo in immersive video, this paper proposes a fixed position video recording method, and uses qualitative interview data to explore the effectiveness of improving learners’ vertigo.Second, verified that immersive panoramic video can better optimize the learning outcome. This paper analyzes and compares the differences of learners’ knowledge mastery under the two video learning methods, and evaluates the effectiveness of video learning project for primary school students based on Immersive panoramic video through the results of learners’ knowledge test before and after.Third, focuses on the interior mechanism of different learning outcomes in two different learning environments. This paper focuses on the internal mechanism of different learning outcomes in two different learning environments.Firstly, this paper analyzes and compares the differences of learners’ learning psychological feelings and cognitive load under the two learning styles, and then explores the mechanism model of the two through the analysis of bootstrap mediating effect. The results reveal the effectiveness of fixed seat recording panoramic video in improving students’ vertigo, verify the beneficial effect of VR panoramic video on students’ learning, and find that learning psychological feeling and cognitive load play a side-by-side mediating effect through further mechanism exploration. This study makes up for the lack of current panoramic practice teaching cases from the technical achievements, and further improves the research on the internal influencing factors of immersion technology on learning results,so as to provide reference for subsequent developers in design ideas, and also provide reference for the promotion and practical application of panoramic video in the field of education.
