Chinese society has experienced rapid economic development and violent social transformation,and its material life is extremely rich.However,people are increasingly suffering from anxiety and pressure,and their mental sub-health conditions are getting worse.Due to the excellent effects of mindfulness in coping with anxiety and depression,improving mood and improving life satisfaction,it has attracted more and more attention from the academic and clinical fields.Mindfulness also promotes people’s cognitive abilities.There have been many studies at home and abroad that have explored the relationship between mindfulness and creativity,and they have begun to study the underlying behavioral mechanism behind this relationship-executive function.In the current study,different types and lengths of mindfulness training are used,and the selected creativity test indicators are single,and the main focus is on the mediating effect of the subjects’ subjective assessment of cognitive flexibility,which is easily affected by retrospective memory.Therefore,this study explores the relationship between mindfulness and creativity through two studies,and uses more objective tasks to further investigate whether executive function subcomponents play a role.Research 1 aims to investigate the relationship between mindfulness,executive function and creativity,and explore whether the sub-components of executive function of college students play a role from the perspective of cross-sectional research.59 subjects were recruited through advertisements,the five-factor mindfulness scale and mindfulness awareness scale were used to measure the mindfulness level of the subjects,the multi-purpose task AUT,the remote association test RAT and the idiom puzzle were used to measure the creativity of college students.Select the Stroop task,the numeric letter conversion task,and the numeric breadth task to evaluate the participant’s inhibition,conversion and refresh abilities.The results show that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between the"mindfulness-observation" dimension and the refresh index(r=.33,p<0.05),and the"mindfulness-description" dimension is significantly positively correlated with the conversion index(r=.32,p<0.05),the "mindfulness-non-reaction" dimension is significantly positively correlated with the suppression accuracy rate(r=.39,p<0.05),and the "mindfulness-conscious action"dimension is significantly negatively correlated with the suppression accuracy rate(r=-.34,p<0.05);(2)There is a significant positive correlation between the "mindfulness-observation" dimension and the solution of the insight problem(idiom puzzle)(r=.43,p<0.05),the "mindfulness-description" dimension and the insight problem Solving the(idiom puzzle)is significantly negatively correlated(r=-.38,p<0.05),and the dimension of "mindfulness-non-judgment" is positively correlated with novelty(r4=.42,p<0.01);(3)refresh indicators and There is a significant positive correlation(r=.47,p<0.01)between insight problem solving(idiom puzzles),and a significant positive correlation between refresh index and novelty(r=.53,p<0.01);(4)"Mindfulness-Observation" Refreshing the indicators has an impact on the solution of the insight problem,and the mediation effect accounts for 29.6%of the total effect.The second study recruited 41 subjects for online intervention.The study was designed as a pre-test and post-test experiment in the control group of the experimental group.The intra-subject variable is time(pre-test vs.post-test),and the inter-subject variable is group(mindfulness group vs.Control group).The mindfulness group received 8 sessions of Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy(MBCT)for one month.The control group did not exert any influence to investigate the influence of mindfulness training on creativity and executive function.The results show that:(1)Mindfulness intervention training can improve the individual’s mindfulness level;(2)Compared with the control group,the mindfulness group has significantly improved before and after RAT test,insight problem solving,fluency and flexibility;(3)Compared with the control group In contrast,after receiving intervention in the mindfulness group,the correct rate of post-test inhibition was significantly higher than that of the pre-test.
