Study On The Relationship Between Population Flow And Regional Economic Development In Xinjiang

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee was held in 1978,population flow has been closely related to our daily life,production and development.During the 30 years of rapid economic development in China,population flow has gradually become a social normal,from being controlled by the government to being approved by policies.The direction of population flow always follows two laws: from the west to the east;From the countryside to the cities.However,in the western region with relatively backward economic development,in order to reduce the phenomenon of unbalanced economic development among regions,under the influence of government macro-control policies and population urbanization,the population flow shows the characteristics of large range of latitude,mainly young labor force,and diversified purposes of flow.Located in the northwest of China,Xinjiang ranks first in terms of land area,but its population density has always been at a relatively low level.Xinjiang is also a typical multi-ethnic region,mainly area of xinjiang population flow,from based on the analysis of xinjiang in recent years,the basic economic situation,present situation and characteristics of the population flow,population flow and the role relationship between regional economic development,population flow study of such problems as the role of regional economic development,analyzes the role of the relationship between migration and economic development in xinjiang.This paper provides some countermeasures and suggestions on the inter-regional development problems in Xinjiang and how to make the population flow more reasonable and standardized,and at the same time provides an effective reference for further solving similar problems in ethnic minority areas.Firstly,this paper briefly describes the economic characteristics and population status quo of Xinjiang.Population distribution is affected by many factors,such as natural environment,social development,economy and politics.Economic factor is the main reason for population mobility.Based on the data of the sixth census,this paper makes data statistics and data investigation of floating population in 15 regions of southern Xinjiang,eastern Xinjiang and northern Xinjiang,and analyzes the quantity and scale of floating population,regional distribution of floating population,population characteristics and reasons of floating population in Xinjiang.The paper holds the relationship between population flow and regional economic development from two aspects.Firstly,the factor model is used to analyze the economic factors affecting the population flow,two factors are extracted,and the comprehensive factors of 15 regions are ranked.Then,the grey correlation method is used to calculate the fit degree of the comprehensive factors and the flow mode to further explain the development relationship between the population flow and regional economy.Finally,the research results are summarized and relevant policy suggestions are put forward.
