The guarantee of high-quality students is an important part of the quality guarantee of university education.Under the background that the disadvantages of the long-term college entrance examination results oriented single enrollment mode are gradually exposed,how can independent enrollment,as an important step in the exploration of multiple enrollment,be guaranteed How to keep a delicate balance between scores and personal qualities is an urgent problem to be solved in the reform of college entrance examination and independent enrollment.In view of this,on the basis of paying attention to the diversified enrollment background in the United States.The integrated evaluation system for undergraduate recruitment of Stanford University is the object of this study,After a systematic research of Stanford holistic admission system.On the one hand I concluded that all the present situation about today’s Stanford admission work and how they treat the tons of application and make the decision.Based on that,with the history context,I discussed the Stanford wonderful performance on personality admission option in both high effective and science way guided by Multiple Intelligence.On the other hand,after the overwhelm research I also find several problem in the admission process.In the context of USA social feature,holistic admission imposed negative effect on high school education including student and the key point in class.So what we can learn from that to build our high-level university is very important.I have done so many work on how Stanford define a good application.I found Stanford apply two system to estimate a good student,one for academic and one for non-academic,they appreciate they potential of changing world and of leadership meanwhile focus on the student who have clearly interest field and know what they actually passion about.As we all know,we live in a diversity world,Stanford pay a lot of attention on creating a similar campus,so they also prefer the different kind student,which from different place or living and growing in different background.So for that,Stanford build they own admission work system,which including academic part and non-academic part.Former for lesson、standard test score and AP or IB lesson and latter for intelligence activity、extra-curriculum、culture background etc.It is concluded that the core of Stanford’s enrollment is to explore whether students have the ability to use their personal potential and interest to create value through diversified and multi-level materials,which is the core of admission decision-making.By caparison,we can also consider how to build the system of Chinese self-enrollment,especially in the pat of decrease the effect of cheating on application material by using diversity standard therefore we can achieve a justice.In the end,my paper offered three valuable suggestions about how to improve our word on self-enrollment work.First,build a justice and trust work atmosphere.Second,keep in touch with student not their score.Third,find a way to keep their own independence in enrollment while obey the trend of policy.
