Under the wave of information technology sweeping the world,online education has become a new form of education because of its advantages in time,space and freedom of communication,and it is an important part of education in the digital age.In online education,there is a kind of education form based on personal learning and all kinds of interaction,which is completely carried out through the network and other media-live teaching.Live teaching can not only reduce students’ cognitive load and improve students’ sense of presence,but also is convenient and low threshold,which undoubtedly becomes the only choice for teachers to carry out online education.However,some related studies show that there is a big gap between the application effect and the ideal effect of live teaching at this stage,which is manifested in the following aspects:students are difficult to enter the state of participation,students’participation is low,and the effect of interactive activities is poor.Therefore,this study will focus on how to promote teaching interaction,from the determination of research problems,theoretical research,design research,data collection and analysis,draw conclusions and other aspects.Games are fun,competitive and situational,which are suitable for stimulating students’ interest and promoting students to form intrinsic motivation.Gamification can solve the problems of lack of learning motivation and low participation of students,so this study will explore the influence of game learning on online course teaching interaction.Situational story is a kind of game elements.Different from the game elements such as points and rewards,situational story can make up for the lack of situation in online education.Therefore,the research scope is narrowed to the influence of situational story on online course teaching interaction in game learning.After a comprehensive understanding of learning theory,game learning theory and situational learning theory,the design principles and activity design process of game live online teaching are formed,which lays the foundation for the design and experimental stage.The research focuses on teaching design and experimental stage.The independent variables of experimental design are situational stories,the independent variables are students’ cognitive level,teachers and other game elements,and the dependent variables are teaching interaction.The popular science course of artificial intelligence department in a science center undertaken by the research team is selected for the experimental course,and the seven step game based online live teaching activity design process is applied,In the process,according to the different game elements of the control group and the experimental group,the course is designed according to the different intention of the activity design link,and the experiment is carried out on the online platform.In the process of the experiment,the screen recording method is used to record the lecture notes clearly,the teacher shows up,the students raise their hands,the discussion area,and comprehensively collect the experimental data,so that the online live teaching interaction behavior can be fully observed during the analysis.The analysis process combined with the specific interaction behavior of the online platform,refined the improved Flanders coding system,formed the coding table and coding matrix by manual coding,and carried out the experimental analysis.According to the data comparison between the experimental group and the control group,it is found that the situational story makes up for the weakness of the lack of situation in online live teaching.Under the premise of learners’ homogeneity,the use of situational story as a game element can improve learners’ learning behavior,subjective initiative,dominant position and classroom atmosphere,which indicates that the situational story designed by roles,plots,problems and tasks in this study has achieved the expected effect of stimulating students’ motivation and improving participation.It provides a reference process for teachers who want to conduct online live teaching in the future.
