Abstract/Summary:
A hundred years of life,standing in early childhood.The construction of rural kindergarten teachers affects the overall quality and develop of preschool education,and the professional attractiveness of rural kindergarten teachers is a special force which bases on professional nobility.Enhancing its professional attractiveness is an important means to strengthen the team of rural teachers and improve the quality of rural education.The long-term urban-rural dual structure in China has caused extremely unbalanced economic and social development in urban and rural areas,and it has caused that rural preschool education development lags behind that in cities.In order to solve the problem of the dual structure of urban and rural areas,the integration of urban and rural areas was proposed in the 1990 s.Based on coordinating the development between urban and rural and promoting social equity and justice,this research aims to strengthen the team of rural kindergarten teachers,improve the quality of rural preschool education,and increase the professional attractiveness of rural kindergarten teachers by urban-rural integration.Based on ERG theory,social identity theory,education equity theory and urban-rural integration,with 477 rural kindergarten teachers as the survey subjects,and 8 rural kindergarten teachers as interview subjects,this research investigates the current situation of the professional attractiveness of rural kindergarten teachers on the five dimensions of social status,working environment,professional remuneration,own comprehensive quality and development space,it is concluded that their professional attractiveness is at a medium level.According to the survey and interview results,it is found that in the context of urban-rural integration,rural kindergarten teachers’ professional attractiveness has achieved some results: teachers’ salaries and their conditions have been improved;their quality has been improved and the training has increased;staffing has been reformed,and the number of rural professional titles has been increased;But some problems in the development are also constantly highlighted,such as poor living soil,low social status,unsatisfactory working environment,inadequate professional development capacity,and limited development space.There are four reasons: First,the level of rural economic development is restricted;Second,the atmosphere of respecting teachers is not strong;Third,the system is not sound;Last but not least,teachers’ professional identity is not strong.To solve these problems and improve the professional attractiveness of rural kindergarten teachers,it is necessary to have the vision and concept of urban and rural coordination: improving treatment and care,improving the sense of acquisition of rural kindergarten teachers;Strengthening public opinion and honor,improving the sense of happiness of rural kindergarten teachers;Expanding the channel and setting the standard,improving the sense of security of rural kindergarten teachers.
