| With the development of Internet technology,social media is gradually accepted by the public and used to be the main channel of information acquisition,occupying the majority of the audience’s attention.As one of the representative achievements of Internet technology,the development and popularization of social media make it easier to create and spread rumors,which seriously endangers social stability.Therefore,it is the focus of this paper to propose a rumor refutation mechanism based on the characteristics of social media and strengthen the effect of rumor refutation.In recent years,unexpected public events occur frequently all over the world,and social media is the main channel for the public to pay attention to and understand the events,which has been paid attention by the academia and the industry.It is worth noting that people often pay more attention to public emergencies,so the authenticity of the information is often mixed and difficult to distinguish,so the discovery of rumors and timely refutation of rumors has become an important direction of Journalism and communication research.In particular,novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreaks occurred in late 2019 and early 2020,and the rumors and rumor measures of epidemic situation showed obvious social media characteristics.WeChat,micro-blog and short video platforms became the important bases for rumor reagents.In this case,how to eliminate the rumor influence in public emergencies within the fastest speed should also become the focus of academic and social media industry.This study combines the latest cases.COVID-19 is a public emergency that affects the global information dissemination.Social media plays an important role in it.Studying the rules and characteristics of information dissemination has a certain reference value for the development of the theory of risk communication in news communication.Based on the novel coronavirus pneumonia rumors in early 2020,this paper attempts to explore the characteristics and effects of social media rumours in public emergencies,and aims to solve the following three problems.First,what are the characteristics of rumor in COVID-19’s social media?Second,what’s the effect of rumor in COVID-19’s social media?Thirdly,for the characteristics of social media and the effect of rumor refutation,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for rumor prevention and control of public emergenciesBased on the novel coronavirus pneumonia in public emergencies,this study is based on the theoretical and practical analysis of the cases and data.The core of the new social situation is the social media’s early rumor in the new crown pneumonia outbreak in the early 2020.The results were discussed.The theoretical basis of this paper is the risk communication theory based on the perspective of information disseminator and media subject,and the use and satisfaction theory based on the perspective of audience in mass communication theory.According to the results of content analysis and questionnaire survey,the social media rumor mechanism in COVID-19 is summarized:the mechanism of identifying the source of rumor information in social media,the distribution mechanism of social media for rumor information based on social relations,and the feedback mechanism of social media rumor effect based on audience interaction;and the characteristics of rumor in social media:the audience in COVID-19 is more concerned about WeChat.This paper analyzes the effect of social media rumor refutation,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for social media rumor Refutation in major emergencies.For the research part of the effect of rumor refutation,the audience’s attitude has been grasped to a large extent.Taking New Coronavirus as an example,this paper studies the attitude of audiences to rumor information in social media in emergencies,and explores the factors that influence rumor effect from the audience level,and builds on the basis of the theory of communication use and satisfaction,enriching the theoretical connotation.Through the feedback of the audience,the problems of social media in public emergencies are further corrected.In addition,the overall initiative to explore and discover the advantages and disadvantages of social media rumor,focusing on the advantages of deep mining and analysis,encourage the establishment of rumor refutation mechanism in line with the development of the times and the law of modern media operation,so as to strengthen the effect of rumor refutation.Based on the communication characteristics of social media and the conditions required to achieve the ideal rumor refutation effect,this study proposes to establish and improve the rumor refutation mechanism of social media in response to public emergencies,to diversify the content and form of social media rumor Refutation in emergencies,and to improve the timeliness of rumor refutation.To sum up,this study is based on case study,combined with literature research,content analysis and questionnaire survey and other specific implementation methods,and carries out text analysis and data statistics on various specific information involved in social media rumor Refutation in public emergencies.The main innovation of the research can be summarized as follows:using fresh and important cases,with the help of practical and effective research methods and technical routes,it makes up for the shortcomings of the existing achievements,such as the lack of case studies and empirical quantification. |
