Harbin,as a historically famous city of music in northeast China,embraces deep-seated music culture.Harbin Normal University is a representative of good normal universities in this city,and is therefore studied in this thesis.Based on the history of the university’s music subjects,the author studies the development of music education in different periods since the restoration of the national college entrance examination in 1977.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the object and reason,background,basic analysis of previous research,research methods and current research status.The text consists of three chapters.The first chapter states the music culture background of Harbin from the perspective of geography and humanity,and points out that Harbin,a city deeply influenced by Russian musicians,has a good multi-cultural foundation of music,as well as the foundation of sustainable development of music education.The second chapter reviews the development track of music education major in Harbin Normal University from 1977 to 2015.During this period,the influence of Russian music culture on music education major of Harbin Normal University was only reflected in the selection of teaching materials and the background of teachers before 1996.In fact,the traces of Russian music reflected by teachers in teaching activities can not be verified.After the 21 st century,due to the geographical advantages,although the Conservatory of music of Harbin Normal University insists on the exchange of music culture between China and Russia,it is still not the main content of teaching activities,and there is no related courses.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between Harbin Conservatory of music and Harbin Normal University,the 11 th independent Conservatory of music in 2016,and puts forward the view that "It is both a crisis and an opportunity".The third part is the conclusion,which mainly thinks deeply about the possibility of the future development direction of music education major in Harbin normal University.
