| In recent days,extreme events caused by psychological problems of young people have occurred from time to time across the country.Depression is an important cause of extreme behaviors in adolescents.Therefore,exploring the influencing factors and mechanism of depression in junior high school students is of great significance in promoting the mental health among them.Based on recent studies,on top of congenital factors,such as genetics and genes,environmental factors,e.g.school climate,and individual factors,e.g.self-identity,school adjustment,and positive psychological capital also play a fundamental role in student depression.However,current research on self-identity,school adjustment,positive psychological capital and school climate mostly concerns a pairwise correlation,which lacks of a systematical conclusion.This research takes self-identity,school adjustment,positive psychological capital and school climate as the research objects,to explores the relationship among junior high school students’ self-identity,school adjustment,positive psychological capital and school climate.By using “Identity Scale”,“Adolescent Perceptions of School climate Scale”,“Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire”,and “school adjustment Questionnaire for Junior High School Students” as measurement tools,a certain 483 junior high school students in the middle school were tested.The results show that:(1)Junior high school students’ school adjustment is good,and students’ self-identity perception of school climate and positive psychological capital are at a relatively good level;(2)There are significant differences in the demographic variables of junior high school students’ self-identity,positive psychological capital and school adjustment;(3)There is a significant positive correlation between junior high school students’ self-identity,perception of school climate,positive psychological capital and school adjustment;(4)Junior high school students’ perception of school climate and positive psychological capital play an intermediary role between self-identity and school adjustment;(5)Perceived school climate and positive psychological capital have a chain-like mediating effect between self-identity and school adjustment. |
