With the rapid economic development of our country and the acceleration of the adjustment of industrial structure,there is a growing demand for talent in society.Higher vocational colleges are responsible for training a group of high-level technical personnel for economic and social development.The employment status of graduates will be related to the economic construction of the society and the sustainable development of higher vocational education.As one of the important factors that directly affect the employment quality of higher vocational students,the career planning ability of higher vocational students has been widely concerned by all sectors of society.A series of documents issued by the state also provide policy support for the development of career planning education in colleges and universities.However,at present,the domestic career planning education is still in its infancy.Many higher vocational colleges have a rather one-sided understanding of its concept.The level of students’ career planning ability is not optimistic,and the employment situation is relatively severe.It is imperative to carry out research on the improvement path of career planning ability.Cultivating and improving the career planning ability of vocational students is the best way to effectively guarantee the smooth employment of graduates of vocational colleges,and it is an inevitable choice to effectively meet the inherent needs of students’ career development.Based on the above analysis,this research is based on the theory of "personal job matching",career development theory and cognitive information processing theory,taking S school management engineering students as examples,using questionnaires,interviews and statistical analysis methods.It explores the status quo of higher vocational students’ career planning ability,analyzes and summarizes the existing problems and internal and external reasons,and puts forward specific feasible ways to improve the career planning of higher vocational students.Through investigation and analysis,this study found that the professional career planning ability of higher vocational students has problems in self-exploration,understanding of the environment,decision-making,and formulation of goals and plans.From the analysis of internal factors,higher vocational students have a weak sense of career planning,the level of knowledge transfer of career planning needs to be improved,and they are unable to grasp the opportunity of obtaining career information.From the analysis of external factors,the professional level of the teachers of career planning in higher vocational colleges is not enough,there are some disadvantages in the curriculum arrangement of career planning,and the concept of career planning education is more vague.In view of this,this research proposes a specific path from two aspects of higher vocational students and higher vocational colleges: higher vocational students should establish career planning attitudes and sense of responsibility,improve self and environmental cognitive ability,and improve information processing skills.Strengthen,target and plan four aspects to improve their career planning ability.Higher vocational colleges should start from the four aspects of teacher team,curriculum content system,education evaluation mechanism and career planning management center construction.The improvement of students’ career planning ability is escorted. |
