Purposes:This study uses 24-type simplified Taijiquan to intervene in middle-aged women for 12 weeks,hoping to clarify the effect of Taijiquan on the health and fitness of middle-aged women,which is of great significance to the promotion of traditional Chinese martial arts culture.Methods:This study adopts literature method,experimental method and mathematical stati stical method to carry out experimental research on 30 middle-aged women in Heze urban area,statistical analysis was carried out on the obtained data using mathematical statistics method:SPSS23.0 statistical software was used to operate,and statistical methods included descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,paired sample t-test,etc.Results:(1)The average ages of the experimental and control subjects were 56.47 years and 56.27 years,and the average heights were 159.99 cm and 160.91 cm,respectively.There was no significant difference in the indicators between the two groups before the experiment.(2)After the experiment,the weight of the experimental group was significantly reduced(1.21 kg),BMI,waist circumference,and the percentage of body fat in body composition were significantly reduced compared with before the experiment,and were significantly lower than the control group after the experiment.(3)This suggests that 12-week Tai Chi exercise can effectively reduce the weight,BMI,waist circumference,and body fat percentage of middle-aged women.Compared with the pre-experiment,the experimental group had a significant increase in muscle endurance,balance ability,and cardiorespiratory fitness after the experiment,which were significantly higher than the control group after the experiment.(4)In the experimental group,there were no significant changes in hip circumference,muscle strength,coordination,rapid response ability,and flexibility after the experiment.Conclusions:12 weeks of tai chi exercise can significantly reduce the body weight,BMI,waist circumference and body fat percentage of middle-aged women,and has the effect of reducing fat.Twelve weeks of Tai Chi exercise can significantly improve the lower limb muscle endurance,balance ability and cardiopulmonary fitness of middle-aged women.12 weeks of tai chi exercise had no obvious effect on grip strength,reaction time and flexibility of middle-aged women,and it may take longer exercise to show the improvement effect. |
