With the accelerating pace of life,people who have been engaged in a career for a long time will gradually produce some negative sentiment like fatigue,drowsiness,or even tired psychology under heavy pressure,which is called job burnout.This occupational disease is spreading among the population,which has increasingly aroused considerable attention of the society.Because of the particularity of the children welfare institutions,the staff in the institutions will encounter various difficulties,including job burnout.In the ‘family-like’ parenting pattern,the family role of the "mother" tends to bear the greater burden.She not only will be responsible for the care of children,rehabilitation and education,also should pay equal attention to her work.However,because the work is a heavy task with low benefits and low social perception of a variety of factors,there is widespread loss of working enthusiasm and work attitude.This means their work and decline in value evaluation,such as a higher burnout level state,will not only reduce work efficiency,also affects the quality of service,at the same time,it is bad for their mental health.In addition,with a high staffturnover rate for a long time and the limited development and stability of welfare institutions,so it is necessary to explore ways to alleviate job burnout.At a starting point of social work intervention,this study case is based on relevant concepts and theories at home and abroad,including the researches of the child welfare agencies class family rearing pattern,child welfare home mother and child welfare workers on the basis of job burnout and so on literature material.Also,this study case applys the theory of maslow’s hierarchy of needs,ecological system and cognitive behavior theory as the instruction with research methods like the integrated use of literature research,in-depth interviews,field observation and questionnaire.Finally,after researching the mothers of the child welfare agencies class B family study,it indicates that there are the ‘family-like’ mothers having different levels of job burnout,reflecting in mechanical performance in the work way,negative attitude,alienation service object,emotional apathy,fuzzy self-evaluation and a low sense of achievement.The reasons why they have job burnout are complex work contents,high psychological pressure,low degree of social recognition,poor welfare benefits,low sense of self-efficacy,lack of sense of achievement,lack of support system,and few social activities.On this basis,the author selected cases with a high degree of job burnout as the object of this study.After diagnosis and evaluation of the problems and needs,from the micro system,medium and macroscopic system,carry out the corresponding service at different stages of intervention,in order to improve the ‘family-like’ mothers job burnout.In the evaluation stage,the author adopted relevant scales for post-test and compared them with the pre-test data.The results demonstrate that the case work is able to effectively improve the job burnout of the ‘family-like’ mothers.However,there are still many deficiencies in this study.Based on the research,the author puts forward a series of feasible research conclusions and suggestions,including the optimization of the structure of work,the rationalization of personnel configuration,improving the salary,benefits,reducing staff turnover rate,increasing the propaganda,improving the social perception,vocational training,strengthen professional personnel,conducting psychological counselling,normalized internal interaction and improve the social support and institutionalized safeguard rights and interests. |
