Information technology into the era of rapid development,has been to every field of human society has more and more influence,including the field of education,information ability has become one of the important ability to promote the continuous development of people,especially for the master,the level of information ability will directly affect the scientific research ability,which influences the quality of talent cultivation of master.Under the guidance of "relevance learning theory",this study USES the methods of literature research,investigation and case study to make an in-depth analysis of the information ability level and cultivation of master students.Firstly,the cultivation objectives and methods of information ability of Chinese master students are sorted out and summarized,and the evaluation criteria of information ability are comprehensively analyzed,so as to fully understand the requirements of information ability cultivation of Chinese master students,and provide a basic basis for the establishment of information ability evaluation indexes in this study.Second,according to the division of geography in our country,adopt the method of stratified sampling,were randomly selected from seven geographic area 2 local normal university as subjects,set of disciplines from pedagogy,education master’s information ability training goal orientation,the education master’s move the three aspects of cultivating the ability of information,of the 14 colleges anduniversities education master’s information ability cultivation conditions were analyzed,to analyze its advantages and disadvantages of cultivating the ability of information.Thirdly,taking G university as an example,this paper conducts a case study.Through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of information ability cultivation of master students in education in G university,and explores the existing problems in information ability cultivation.Finally,the comprehensive comparison and analysis of 14 local normal university and the university of G of case analysis,extract the information ability cultivation of master problems and deficiencies: the results showed that the master information ability in the average level,but information analysis ability is weak,the data analysis software,use of literature visualization analysis software ability.The problems of information ability training are as follows :(1)the target of information ability training for master students is not clear;(2)less than ideal setting and implementation of information ability training courses;(3)low participation rate in training related to information ability;(4)master students have a weak sense of self-study and insufficient attention.There are four main reasons for these problems :(1)the imperfect policy system of university informatization construction;(2)deficiencies of information capacity training system and information resource construction in colleges and universities;(3)the guidance time and information ability level of master tutors are limited;(4)master students have weak awareness of personal information and lack of initiative and autonomy in learning.According to the existing problems and their causes,this study puts forward the following countermeasures and Suggestions to improve the cultivation of master students’ information ability: first,the government should improve the policy system of university information construction and accelerate the construction of information learning environment;Second,universities should pay more attention to the cultivation of master’s information ability.Third,the master should improve their own information ability to cultivate the subjective initiative.The innovation of this research lies in that,under the guidance of the learning theory of the digital age--relevance learning theory,a questionnaire on the information ability of master students in education is compiled,and its reliability and validity are verified,so as to conduct a comprehensive and scientific investigation on the information ability of master students.However,the author’s research ability is limited,and the research methods also have certain limitations.It is expected that the future relevant research can expand the number of samples,and adopt a variety of methods to collect research data,to avoid the data errors caused by a single method.
