| The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress proposes that we should “build an army of knowledge-based,skilled and innovative workers,carry forward the ethos of model workers and craftsmanship spirit,create a glorious social manner of work,and a dedication to excellence,and accelerate the construction of an innovative country”.In the following year,at the 19 th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the 14 th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Academy of Engineering,General Secretary Xi Jinping once again said,“the vast majority of engineering,science and technology workers should have both the spirit of the craftsmen and the unity.” The craftsmanship spirit originally refers to the professional spirit of hard work and due diligence of manual laborers.However,it can be found that the craftsmanship spirit and the connotation it cultivates in the new era has gone far beyond the original narrow scope,and its core concept has undergone the transformation from “creation” to “education”.Therefore,the cultivation of craftsmanship spirit is of great value to the socialist modernization,the construction of a powerful country of education and the conduct of ideological and political work.This paper is mainly composed of four parts.The first part,the connotation,characteristics,and educational value of craftsmanship spirit.The basic connotation of craftsmanship spirit is the working attitude of loving one’s work and being devoted to it,the working spirit of making perfection more perfect,the working philosophy of inheritance and innovation,and the mission and spirit for the country and the people.Starting from the connotation,it can be seen that professionalism,preciseness,innovation and patriotism are the core characteristics of craftsmanship spirit.In addition,craftsmanship spirit shows the time value of promoting the country’s industrial transformation and upgrading,optimizing the training quality of applied talents,and contributing to the realization of the Chinese Dream and national rejuvenation.It is also helpful to practice the core values of socialism,carry out the basic tasks of strengthening moral education and cultivating people,improve the actual effect of ideological and political education,and enhance the innovative and entrepreneurial ability of college students.The second part,the tradition and experience of cultivating craftsmanship spirit.Through multiple analyses on cultural significance,historical logic and practical form,it can be concluded that the historical tradition of the cultivation of the craftsmanship spirit in our country is embodied in fostering the craftsmanship spirit through traditional ways of life,advocating the craftsmanship spirit through traditional moral ethics,and promoting the craftsmanship spirit by carrying forward traditional value orientation.In the contemporary era,the development of the craftsmanship spirit cultivation is manifested by cultivating socialist core values,practicing the emotional resonance that arouses craftsmanship spirit cultivation,and carrying out the improvement of the personal comprehensive ability to realize the intrinsic requirements to cultivate the craftsmanship spirit with strengthening moral education and cultivating people as the fundamental task.Although the theme and emphasis of education vary with the changes of the times,it can be seen from the perspective of the specific cultivation processes that the cultivation of the craftsmanship spirit in China has a typical model,that is,to excavate,select and build outstanding models,propagandize and promote the advanced deeds,vigorously carry forward the spiritual qualities and actively construct the study atmosphere.The third part,the influencing factors and internal mechanism of craftsmanship spirit cultivation.The TV documentary,“Great Country Craftsman” introduces the astonishing stories of 24 great country craftsmen with 120 million video views and 56 million views of the topic on micro blog,which aroused wide influence and discussion in the society.Taking 8 episodes of TV documentary “Great Country Craftsman” and more than 100,000 words of materials such as special reports related to great country craftsmen are selected as the materials,the analysis of this research finds that the qualities of patriotism,responsibility,dedication and innovation at the individual level,the atmosphere of teaching by personal example as well as verbal instruction formed at the family level,the craftsman-apprentice mode at the organizational level,and the critical and pressing national needs at the event level,are the influencing factors in the cultivation of craftsmanship spirit.In terms of mechanism of action,it takes personal quality as the core,family tradition as the foundation,organizational cultivation as the guarantee,and major events as the turning points.The fourth part,practical solutions of the craftsmanship spirit cultivation in the new era.First of all,encourage ideal and beliefs,create a simple family style,strengthen the construction of teachers’ ethics and enhance education in national conditions to grasp the key factors of the craftsmanship spirit cultivation in the new era and make the main direction clear;secondly,cultivate the spiritual soil and supporting system of the craftsman culture at the national level,improve the basic model and concrete system of the craftsman cultivation at the social level,form the conceptual support and emotional foundation of the craftsman quality at the family level,strengthen the moral foundation and human agency of craftsmanship spirit at the individual level,follow the influencing mechanism of craftsmanship spirit cultivation in the four dimensions,and improve the education system;finally,in corresponding to the enduring and typical pattern of craftsmanship spirit cultivation in China,we should start with the four important steps and paths of craftsmanship spirit cultivation in the new era,which are the establishment of the model,the spread of deeds,the refinement of spirit and the formation of the learning style. |
