| The increase of the elderly population has become a topic of world concern and has become an overall trend of the world.With the increase of population,the problem of aging is increasing,especially the mental health status of the elderly has become a focal topic of the society.Compared with the urban elderly,the rural elderly are restricted by their own physical conditions,economic conditions,ideas,pension,medical care,housing and other infrastructure.The mental health condition is more worrying,and the mental health problems of the rural elderly are more difficult to solve.Therefore,how to improve the mental health of the elderly in rural areas is an important problem to be solved urgently,and the key factors affecting the mental health of the elderly in rural areas are many,and their relationship is complex.Therefore,the research on the mechanism of factors affecting the mental health of the elderly in rural areas has important practical significance for improving the mental health level of the elderly in rural areas.Papers in the rural elderly mental health factors are reviewed in this paper,on the basis of related literature and theory,first studied the key factors that affect the rural elderly people’s mental health,this paper analyzes the self-reported satisfaction,family relations,social security,social participation and the nature of the key factors such as physical condition characteristics and the role relationship between 13 puts forward the research hypothesis,build the theoretical model of the factors that affect the rural elderly mental health.Then,based on the relevant data of China’s health and old-age care tracking survey in 2015,this paper describes and analyzes the status quo of the mental health of the elderly in rural areas,and USES the regression method to analyze the difference of the influence of social demographic variables on the mental health of the elderly.Finally,PLS path model method(PLS Path Modeling)is applied to build the theoretical model of empirical research,the thesis logic analysis of the proposed research hypothesis,and calculates each key factors on the mental health of direct effects,indirect effect and total effect,get the influence path graph,so as to put forward the corresponding improvement and policy Suggestions to improve the rural elderly mental health.The research found that: the mental health status of the elderly in rural areas is not optimistic on the whole,and with the gender,age,education,marital status and other factors of different levels,there is a significant difference in the mental health status of the elderly in rural areas.The PLS path model analysis showed that factors such as self-ratedsatisfaction,family relationship,social security,social participation and physical status were all key factors that directly affected the mental health of the elderly in rural areas.Among them,physical status had the largest impact on the mental health of the elderly in rural areas,with a total impact of-0.39.In addition to directly affecting their mental health,the physical condition of the elderly in rural areas also indirectly affects their mental health through the path of "physical condition → family relationship → self-rated satisfaction→ mental health",through their family relationship,self-rated satisfaction and social participation.Their family relationship indirectly affected their mental health through self-rated satisfaction.Social security factors indirectly affect their mental health through social participation;The mediating effects of family relationship,social participation and self-rated satisfaction were significant. |
