A Study On The Influencing Factors Of The Quit Training Intention Of Competitive Swimming Reserve Talents In Liaoning Province

As China’s swimming team is getting more and more achievements at the Olympic Games,the exposure of swimming events is increasing quickly.More and more parents choose to send their children to train in competitive swimming,and this phenomenon makes competitive swimming become the focus of social researches.However,competitive training is a boring process,so that every year there is a large number of athletes to retreat,among which there are some reserve talents.Therefore,it has become the focus of current researches that how to effectively prevent the retreat of competitive swimming reserve talents.In the review of relevant literature,it is found that there are only a few of researches about the retreat of competitive swimming reserve talents until now.Therefore,in this study,the competitive swimming reserve talents in Liaoning Province are taken as the investigation objects,and the factors that influence their idea of retreat in training are taken as the study objects.It aims to discuss the influence of the factors on the retreat intention of competitive swimming reserve talents,and to discuss the differences of influence factors on retreat intention under different demographic variables.This study starts with the influencing factors.The connotation of competitive swimming reserve talents is defined,and the researches on the retreat of competitive swimming talents at home and abroad are studied,and the concept of the retreat of competitive swimming reserve talents is defined.The methods adopted in this study are: Self-designed questionnaires are made for investigation and analysis.These questionnaires are preliminarily designed through literature data collection and in-depth interviews of ten retreated athletes,then rounds of expert consultation are conducted to revise the indexes in the questionnaires.After that the reliability and validity of the questionnaires are tested by SPSS,and finally the conclusions are made through the the analysis of the collected data.Conclusions:1.The influencing factors of the retreat intention of competitive swimming reserve talents in Liaoning Province are: athletes’ subjective factor,training and injury factor,interpersonal environment factor,structural management factor and future development factor.2.All of athletes’ subjective factor,training and injury factor,interpersonal environment factor,structural management factor and future development factor have a correlation with athletes’ retreat intention.Among them,the factors of athletes’ subjective,training and injury are the most influencing two of their intention to retreat from training.The more subjective factors there are,the stronger the retreat intention they have.The worse the injury and training factors there are,the stronger the retreat intention they have.and the influence coefficients are,respectively,0.265 and 0.572.3.The higher sports level athletes are in,the weaker the retreat intention they have.Athletes training in freestyle are least likely to develop the idea to retreat;Athletes training in breaststroke have the strongest retreat intention.Prevention measures:1.Athletes’ demand should be met in time to avoid their retreat which caused by subjective factor.The government of Liaoning Province should pay attention to the individual demands of athletes,and set up an independent organization to deal with the feedback from athletes in order to know about the real demands of athletes and come up with the solutions.2.Scientific training should be made to avoid the retreat of athletes which caused by training injury factor.The government of Liaoning Province should make a special training plan in Liaoning Province,and arrange the training timetable reasonably so as to ensure athletes’ rest time and leisure time.3.The environment should be improved to avoid the retreat of athletes which caused by environmental factor.The government of Liaoning Province should establish a culture learning system to strengthen the cultural education of competitive swimming reserve talents,and conduct pre-work training and assessment for professional coaches.Meanwhile,regular supervision and inspection of cultural education situation and education managers in each sports school should be made.4.The management should be improved to avoid the retreat of athletes which caused by structure management factor.The government of Liaoning Province should strive to ensure the diversity of funding sources to avoid bad management which caused by uneven distribution of resources.5.The guarantee should be provided to prevent the retreat athletes which caused by future development factor.The government of Liaoning Province should cooperate with sponsors to provide more and better opportunities for cross-professional platforms and choices to achieve a win-win result.
