Theoretically and practically,western developed countries attach great importance to parents’ participation in school management and have achieve good results.In contrast,there is still room for improvement in the theoretical research and practical advancement of parents’ participation in school management.Therefore,the study of parents’ participation in school management will be carried out from two aspects: theory and practice.The theoretical level is to summarize the relevant research results to establish a basic theoretical framework for parent participation in school management,while the practical level is to choose S primary school as a specific research object.after,field survey on the current S elementary school parents to participate in the basic situation of school management,induces the main problems,and make an attribution analysis,on the basis of the operable countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward.Firstly,this study builds a theoretical framework of parent participation in school management based on the review of relevant research at home and abroad from the three aspects of the main body of participation,the content of participation and the way of participation.its internal logic is in the process of participation in school management "who to participate in,to participate in what and how to participate in",and at the same time as the parents to participate in the dimension of the school management practice survey.Secondly,taking S primary school as the research object,this paper investigated the parents of students in S primary school by means of questionnaire and interviews,and conducted interviews with the principal,secretary and teachers of S primary school to understand the current situation of parents’ participation in school management,and summarized the problems of parents’ participation in school management in S primary school in Chongqing.The problems in the subject of participation are as follows: first,the absence of parents’ decision-making and evaluation rights;Second,parents lack actual participation behavior;Third,parents’ participation literacy needs to be improved.The problems in the content of participation are as follows: first,the content of participation is not comprehensive;Second,some management affairs are excessively involved;The problems in the way of participation are as follows:first,the lack of diversity in the way of participation;Second,the role of the participation approach has not been fully played.After analyzing and integrating these problems,the author conducted an in-depth exploration of the causes behind these problems.Finally,according to the practical dilemma of S primary school parents’ participation in school management and its causes,the author proposes strategies to solve the problem.The countermeasures of the main body of participation: first,to realize the comprehensive use of parents’ management power;Second,improve the action of parents’ participation in school management;Third,improve parents’ participation literacy.The countermeasures of participation content: first,enrich the content of parents’ participation in school management;Second,define the scope of parents’ participation in school management;Third,change parents’ "only achievement theory" educational view.The countermeasures of the way of participation: first,to expand the way of parents’ participation;Second,give full play to the role of the participation approaches. |
