China’s economy is growing steadily, and household income is increasing as well.People are attaching more importance to education.New generation parents are also more willing to invest more in their children’s early education.Early childhood education institutions have become a platform for parents to obtain parenting education and their children to receive early education.Early childhood education is complex and requires teachers to be highly professional. However, the education industry has a manpower-intensive feature, and the core competitiveness of education development enterprises is teachers. Therefore, the performance evaluation of teachers in educational institutions acts a pivotal part in improving the level of human resource management in early education institutions, reducing the turnover rate of teachers, and improving the quality of teachers. This thesis takes Y Education Development Company as an example. It analyzes the problems existing in the performance evaluation of teachers in Y Education Development Company on the basis of the existing theories and results of performance evaluation at home and abroad, and finds that it has problems such as incomplete appraisal contents, hidden appraisal results and lack of channels. The main reasons for the problems are: the lack of emphasis on performance communication and feedback, the failure to apply performance evaluation results well, and the lack of emphasis on performance improvement.Based on the problems found and the reasons analyzed, the original performance appraisal indicators were analyzed and modified by using Management by Objective and Key Performance Indicators methods. After clarifying the performance appraisal indicators, this thesis uses the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to set weights for the teachers’ performance appraisal indicators of Y Education Development Company. Finally, the teacher performance evaluation index system of Y Education Development Corporation was established, and a new plan for the performance evaluation of the teacher team and some guarantee measures to promote the implementation of the new plan were proposed. |
