The faculty is the core element of the smooth development of the school teaching work and the key to the quality of teaching.For the development of the discipline,the quality of the faculty directly affects the quality of education in the discipline;For colleges and universities,the construction of the faculty is related to the survival and development of the university,and it is also a core task of the school’s human resource management;It is said that the construction of the teaching staff is related to the quality of the national personnel training and the level of scientific research.Therefore,the construction of the teaching staff is of extremely significance.At present,the construction of the teaching staff in the education discipline in China’s colleges and universities is facing some difficulties—The development of teachers in the disciplines of education between different regions and universities is not balanced,and the structure of the teaching staff is not ideal.The author from the existing research data to this situation characterized by the development team of Pedagogy faculty,selected the seven colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province as the research object to study Pedagogy faculty structural features and present construction of Shaanxi Province.Based on the analysis of existing relevant literatures,the study determines the analytical structure of the core concepts of the faculty of education disciplines.This structure is used as an analysis basis to study the structural features and current situation of the construction of teaching staff in Shaanxi Province.The specific research ideas are as follows: Firstly,defines the related concepts of the construction of the teaching staff of the pedagogy;summarizes the relevant connotation of the structural of the faculty,then determines the basic content of the faculty’s five structures in the student-teacher ratio,age,education background,professional title and Graduation school structure;Secondly,the comparative method and the case analysis method and interview are used to compare and analyze the data,which collected from the materials and construction of the teaching staff of the seven colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province to find the existing problems,analyze the causes of the problems;Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the construction of the teaching staff of the education discipline,combined with relevant theories and facts,put forward the relatively feasible countermeasures.Through the analysis of the research data,the author finds that the structures,such as student-teacher ration,education background and professional title of the teaching staff of the seven universities and colleges are not ideal.The specific problems are that the number of full-time teachers is small;the ratio of students to teachers is large;the number of teachers with doctoral degrees is small,and the number of teachers with senior professional titles is small.But the graduation school structure is ideal,for the teachers’ come from different school;and the age structure is more reasonable,for the young and middle-aged teachers are the majority.At the same time,the predicaments of the construction in the education discipline faculty are that the teaching tasks of are heavy;the loss of young teachers is large;the evaluation of professional titles is difficult.Combined with the author’s exchanges with the relevant colleges and universities,it is found that the main reasons for the existence of these problems in the current faculty construction of the pedagogy are: the employment system is rigid,the professional title evaluation system needs to be optimized,and the treatment of teachers in different schools is quite different.,and some factors from teachers themselves.Finally,this study puts forward some suggestions and strategies from social,school,and individuals for the construction of the teaching staff of Shaanxi Province.First,the society should increase the investment in the construction of pedagogical teachers in the province;Second,the school should reform and improve the appointment system;optimize the structure of teachers and make rational use of incentive policies;Third,teachers should have a positive sense of self-improvement.
