| Nowadays,scientific and technological progress has promoted the rapid development of society,and the development of science education has gradually received attention.Experiments play a very important role in science teaching in primary schools,so science teachers are required to have higher experimental skills.However,in reality,primary science teachers are composed of a large number of science teachers who take up other subjects,who undertake a lot of scientific teaching work.The mastery of these teachers’ experimental skills is closely related to the teaching quality and subject development of primary science.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out this research.This study first combed the literature about the development of this kind of science teachers in primary schools in China and the primary school science experimental skills,and combined with the relevant requirements of the "compulsory education primary school science curriculum standard" issued by the Ministry of education in 2017,sorted out the research framework of experimental skills,including experimental design skills,experimental operation skills,experimental data processing and analysis skills,experimental communication and summary skills.Questionnaire and interview were used to investigate the four aspects of skills.Through a variety of forces,a large number of science teachers who take up other subjects in primary schools were selected.Questionnaires were sent out and data were collected through questionnaire stars,and then data analysis was carried out.Then the interview outline is designed according to the existing problems,and the interview results and questionnaire survey are mutually verified.Through the investigation and research,we found that the experimental skills of these science teachers in primary schools have the following problems.First,the autonomy of experimental design skills is poor.Second,the mastery of experimental operation skills is insufficient.Third,the experimental data recording and analysis skills are weak.Fourth,the writing skills of experimental report need to be strengthened.After sorting out the problems,several teachers were selected for interviews to confirm the problems revealed by the questionnaire survey.Based on the analysis of the relevant reasons,this paper puts forward some targeted suggestions: First,reasonably arrange the concurrent teaching tasks of main and minor teachers;Second,the combination of mutual aid and strengthening self-study to improve experimental skills;Third,teachers should improve their awareness and ability of active inquiry.Fourth,we should pay more attention to the experimental skills of primary school science teachers who teach other subjects. |
