| The new curriculum reform requires teachers’ professional development to continue to improve.School-based teaching and research plays an important role in promoting teachers’ professional development and improving teaching quality due to its school-based nature,teachers’ subjectivity and practicability,which is an effective way for rural teachers to achieve professional development.School-based teaching and research in rural secondary schools is school-based,teacher-centered,and focuses on solving practical problems faced by school education and teaching.The positive role of school-based teaching and research has been recognized by the majority of teachers,which is of great significance for improving the quality of education and teaching in rural secondary schools,improving the local education level and narrowing the gap between urban and rural education.Based on many problems existing in the implementation of school-based teaching and research in rural middle schools,this study investigates the school-based teaching and research in X middle school in Fengyang County,Anhui Province.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation,problems and causes of the implementation of school-based teaching and research in this middle school,analyze the effect of school-based teaching and research in promoting teachers’ professional development,and further help the school to improve the quality of school-based teaching and research.This research takes X Middle School in Fengyang County of Anhui Province as the research object through sorting out relevant documents of school-based teaching and research,on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire investigation and interviews,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of school-based teaching and research in seven aspects,including rural teachers’ awareness of school-based teaching and research,the construction of school-based teaching and research system,the input of school-based teaching and research resources,the implementation content and training of school-based teaching and research,the cooperation of school-based teaching and research teachers,the specific implementation of school-based teaching and research,and the evaluation mechanism of school-based teaching and research.The advantages mainly lie in the improvement of the acceptance of school-basedteaching and research,the improvement of teachers’ specialization and the formation of a relatively standardized teaching and research system.School-based teaching and research in X Middle School has achieved certain results.At the same time,there are many problems in school-based teaching and research in X Middle School,such as weak subjectivity of teachers and effective research energy and time.The school-based teaching and research system needs to be improved and the teaching and research process lacks fine management.School-based teaching and research experts lack guidance,lack of professional guidance,and lack of resources for teaching and research.The form of teaching and research is single,and the cooperation between teachers is insufficient.The evaluation mechanism of school-based teaching research is rigid and teachers’ self-reflection is insufficient.According to the investigation and analysis of the problems,mainly from the two levels of teachers and schools to put forward corresponding solutions.At the teacher level,teachers should strengthen their subjective consciousness,formulate their professional growth plans,strengthen their professional guidance,strengthen their cooperation in schools,and improve their self-reflection ability.At the school level: create a good school-based teaching and research atmosphere,optimize the organizational functions of school-based teaching and research,improve the work efficiency of teaching and research teams,increase the input of school-based teaching and research resources,strengthen the construction of school-based teaching and research system,and diversify the evaluation subjects.It is hoped that the successful experience of school-based teaching and research in X rural middle schools will have important reference significance for rural middle schools in this region and other regions. |
