This paper studies the evolution and influencing factors of the spatial difference of global human development level in 2000-2017 by means of comprehensive statistical analysis, spatial Gini coefficient,Theil index and spatial panel. It is found that:(1)from 2000 to 2017,the average level of global HDI rose from 0.630 to 0.717,an increase of 13.78%.However,in terms of global average HDI growth, the growth rate of global human development level gradually slows down. The absolute values of HDI are life index, income index and education index.Although the education index has the lowest score,it has the fastest growth, indicating that countries around the world have the most significant improvement in education.Life expectancy index scores the highest, but the growth rate is lower than that of education index;(2)From 2000 to 2017,the Gini coefficient of HDI and its three sub indexes decreased year by year, indicating that the spatial imbalance of global human development level and its three sub indexes decreased year by year.Among the three sub indicators of HDI,the imbalance of education between countries has always been the most serious problem, which is the main factor causing the imbalance of regional human development;(3)The spatial differences of human development in each of the seven regions are decreasing year by year, which shows that the development differences in these seven regions are gradually narrowing.Among the seven regions,Africa has made the most significant progress in overcoming the imbalance of internal development, and the improvement of human development is the most obvious;(4)From 2000 to 2017,the regional differences have been the main factors leading to the differences of global human development level, income development level and education development level;(5)Total trade and urbanization have a positive impact on global human development index and its three sub indexes;total international tourism has a negative impact on HDI,education index and health index, and has a positive impact on income index;inflation rate has a negative impact on HDI and income index, but has no significant impact on education index and health index;mobile data usage has a positive impact on health The impact is not significant, which has a positive impact on HDI,education index and income index;the total population has a positive impact on HDI,income index and education index, which has no impact on health index;(6)countries with low human development level have made significant progress in education, income and health, and the growth rate is significantly higher than that of middle and high human development countries, but the education side Backwardness is still the main factor behind the human development level of the whole country or region;for countries with medium human development level,we can find that in addition to the 18.7% growth rate in education,we still need to continue to work on income and health;for countries with high human development level, the growth of income index is the slowest, and relevant countries should focus on increasing residents To raise the level of human development in the country;(7)Internet penetration rate and urbanization rate have a significant impact on the global HDI and its three sub indexes.GDP growth rate, per capita government health expenditure and the proportion of government education expenditure all have a significant impact on human development;(8)Internet penetration rate has the largest pulling effect on the life index of countries with low human development level, followed by countries with high human development level, and finally medium human development water Pingguo, which shows that the development of Internet technology can effectively improve the health level of countries with low human development level;(9)urbanization rate has the most significant pulling effect on the health level of countries with high human development level, followed by countries with low human development level, and finally countries with medium human development level, which shows that no matter for countries with high or low human development level,The promotion of urbanization can effectively improve the local health level.
