A Study On Online Social Support And Intercultural Adaption Of International Students In China

The intercultural adaptation of foreign students in China is of great significance to the development of our society and education.Nowadays,the network has penetrated into every corner of people’s life and provided important social support for people.Based on the academic research in recent years and the idea of network synergy,this paper studies the role of online social support between various aspects on the intercultural adaption of international students in China.Due to the differences in language and culture,there are still some problems of international students in social adaptation during the period of coming to China,mainly manifested in the adaptation problems in language,daily life,culture and psychology.While international students in China can meet some of their basic needs of information support and emotional support through online social support;however,the lack of relevant policies and online application design,the synergistic effect of online social support in the process of intercultural adaptation of international students in China cannot be brought into full play.Based on the research results,this paper gives some suggestions from three aspects: policy making,online application development and international students coming to China.First,the relevant policy makers should establish a systematic,standardized and multi-in-one online social support synergy to solve the problem of cross-cultural adaptation of international students in China.Second,the software designer should cooperate with the relevant policy makers to combine the business strategy closely with the needs of the users by using the synergistic effect.Third,international students in China should provide timely information and feedback their advice.The aim is to give full play to the advantages of the domestic network science and technology platform in the daily life of the people,and to provide the online social support under the synergistic effect of the whole process of intercultural adaptation,multi-angle,deep-level and multi-level interconnection of international students in China.
