Study On The Problems And Countermeasures In The Development Of Private Colleges And Universities In L District Of Chongqing

Private higher education is of great importance to the development of higher education in China.After years of hard development,the quality and scale of private higher education in L District of Chongqing have made great breakthroughs.At the same time,problems and challenges emerge in an endless stream,among which development ideas and standardized management need to be solved,so as to provide an important reference for the efficient and sustainable development of private higher education in Chongqing 。This paper divides the development process of private colleges and universities into three periods: Enlightenment period,exploration period,rapid period,standardization period and deepening period.This paper analyzes and summarizes the problems faced by private colleges and universities in L District of Chongqing by using comparative research and literature method,and analyzes private colleges and universities from policy bottlenecks,enrollment problems,teachers’ level,scientific research,discipline construction and other dimensions.Taking into account the actual situation of L District in Chongqing and drawing on the experience of the United States,Britain and Japan,as well as Beijing,Zhejiang,Jiangsu and Sichuan in China,this paper puts forward the countermeasures that are conducive to the sustainable development of private colleges and universities in L District in Chongqing: increasing policy support;strengthening the construction of teaching staff;speeding up the transformation and development of applied technology;preparing for the construction of high-level think tanks;improving the people’s education We should establish a modern management system for colleges and universities,improve the access and exit mechanisms,seize the opportunity of cooperation and assistance between the East and the west,and strengthen international development.
