At present,the sustainable development of social work talents is facing a dilemma.The existing studies mainly discuss the policy environment,the level of regional economic development,the degree of social recognition,the level of institutional development and the professional relevance.However,social work is a value-oriented profession and career,and it is of natural affinity and practical value to explore the sustainable development of social work talents from the perspective of values.For this,this article is based on the social ecosystem theory and the theory of values,beliefs,norms perspective,to build "social-organization,the value of" social workers to explain the logic of sustainable development,and discusses on the types of values for social workers to the influence of sustainable development,based on the China’s specific social and cultural background to explore the localization of social work values.This research adopts the combination of field research and survey research methods,taking chongqing as an example,the social work profession more than 3 years and the questionnaire survey to 106 social workers and social work in-depth interviews found in 13(1)on the basis of Rokeach values scale,according to "individual and society" and "value and capability" dimension will be 2 * 2 types of values is divided into four categories: including personal-a competency-based,personal-value,society-a competency-based and social-value;Through logistics regression analysis,it was found that the sustainable development of social workers with society-value,society-energy and individual-energy values had significant influence,while individual-value values had no significant influence on the sustainable development of social work.(2)based on the specific social and cultural background in China,the researcher further conducted in-depth interviews with 13 social workers who had worked for more than three years.It was found that senior social workers in the front line interpreted professional values in a localized way,which mainly included four categories: first,professional values that reflected professional growth and self-growth;The second is the professional value of professional discovery including social work professional cognition and self-realization;The third is the professional mission value,which includes industry development and professional value.The fourth is the social value of human cognition and interpersonal relationship.The innovation of this article is to explore from the perspective of typology "social work values influence on sustainable development of social work personnel,and further to the different types of values to localise meaning construction,trying to found based on the characteristics of Chinese social and cultural background guide social work personnel’s inherent motive force of sustainable development.Based on the social workers in chongqing social work institutions in the past three years as the main research object,the research conclusion is representative to a certain extent,but lacks the difference analysis of diversified and multi-level social work institutions and different policy environments. |
