With the progress of social science and technology development of the Internet,mobile phone has become an indispensable necessity in people’s life..What is called that one mobile phone is at hand and everything is no need to think twice.It has become a true portrayal of modern people.Although mobile phones have brought lots of convenience,there are still a series of problems.Mobile phone addiction has become a problem that cannot be ignored,which affects people’s normal study,work and life.Boredom is a negative emotion that harms people’s physical and mental health.One of the important indicators to measure people’s mental health is harmonious interpersonal relationship.Self-control is the ability can consciously choose and control thought or behavior on your own.The main context of this paper is to research the relationship between boredom,interpersonal relationship,self-control and mobile phone addiction of secondary vocational school students.887 secondary vocational school students in Dongguan City,Guangdong Province were chose as the research object.The author launched an investigation into the related conditions by using college students’ boredom propensity scale,comprehensive interpersonal relationship diagnosis scale,self-control scale and mobile phone addiction index scale,and intervened with mobile phone addicts through group counseling.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)Among secondary vocational school students,mobile phone addicts were52.31%,which accounts for a large proportion.Most of them have no idea on dealing with interpersonal relationships.The score of self-control and boredom were at an intermediate level.There are discrepancies in demographic variables in the four dimensions,which is about secondary vocational school students’ mobile phone addiction,boredom,interpersonal relationship and self-control.(2)There are significant characteristics of pairwise correlation among secondary vocational school students’ boredom,interpersonal relationships,self-control and mobile phone addiction.Boredom has a prominent predictive effect on interpersonal relationships.Boredom and interpersonal relationships have a distinct predictiveeffect on mobile phone addiction.Boredom and self-control have an obvious predictive effect on interpersonal relationships.(3)Through the intermediate of interpersonal relationships,the boredom of secondary vocational school students is able to make an indirect prediction of mobile phone addiction.Meanwhile,the direct effect of boredom on interpersonal relationships is regulated by self-control.(4)Carry out group guidance on the theme of interpersonal relations to 15 students who is seriously addicted to mobile phone.In the experimental group,the level of students’ interpersonal relationship problems after being intervening sharply declined.To some extent,it achieved the purpose of reducing the level of their mobile phone addiction.
