| With the strengthening of the globalization trend,people are living in a tightly connected and rapidly changing diverse world,which promotes frequent cross-cultural exchanges between people,impacts the direction of education reform,and brings challenges and opportunity to contemporary primary and secondary school principals.Global competence is the basis for individuals and organizations to cope with globalization and localization in the 21 st century.It is the latest dimension index of student achievement evaluation included by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development..Primary and secondary school principals should have high-level global competence in order to lead and cultivate teachers and students with global competence in order to lead the school to better development.Therefore,the construction of a global competence system for school principals in China should be an important area of current educational modernization reform.This research revolves around how to build a global competence system for primary and secondary school principals.Through the preliminary literature compilation,grasp the current status of global competence research and determine the basic direction of building an indicator system.Combined with the Arjun Appadurai’s Global Cultural Flow Model and NVivo11 software,the Text Analysis is used to perform a three-level coding process on official documents about domestic and foreign principals’ professional standards,training plans,etc.This part determine the concept of global competence for primary and secondary school principals in China,form a theoretical model of the indicator system and initially construct a global competence system for primary and secondary school principals with three-level indicators.Then,based on the process of Delphi Method,an expert group with two rounds of opinion consultation to evaluate and score the indicator system;Combining expert advice,the thesis carried the boundary value method were to screen and modify the indicators,and used the Analytic Hierarchy Process to calculate the weight of each indicator in the system.The global competence system of the principals of primary and secondary schools in China is finally determined,revolving 5 first-level indicators,15 second-level indicators and60 third-level indicators.Finally,in order to better explain this system,it is theoretically explained. |
