The family planning policy once implemented in our country has prompted our country to produce a unique family structure group—one-child families.With the increasing number of high-risk events such as diseases and accidents,China has produced more and more families who have lost their independence.Many groups that once played the role of parents in the families who have lost their independence have stepped into old age and become elderly people who have lost their independence.At present,the total number of elderly people who have lost their independence in China has exceeded 2 million.As the aging progresses,the number of people in this group will continue to increase.This article takes the x street of Beijing as an example for analysis.It analyzes the living conditions and characteristics of elderly people who have lost their independence from the aspects of physical,psychological,economic,and social interaction,understands the actual difficulties and needs of the elderly people who have lost their independence,and understands the existing assistance system.The role and deficiencies in help services.The study found that there are large economic differences among the group of elderly people who have lost their independence,and their physical conditions are generally poor.It is prone to pessimistic and negative emotions such as pain,remorse,and self-blame.Social communication shows internal and external alienation.In general,the lack of psychological needs is the most serious,and the needs of life care are the most urgent.At present,X Street has initially established a social support system for the elderly who have lost their independence.Some measures that have been taken in terms of life care,financial assistance,psychological assistance,and social interaction have played a certain effect,but there are still deficiencies.Psychological comfort has not been effectively satisfied,the development of the pension industry is relatively lagging behind,and there are still problems such as insufficient professionalism in services,lack of informal network support such as relatives,friends and neighbors,which hinders the group of elderly people who have lost their independence from enjoying their old age.There is still a long way to go in the areas of systematic assistance,professionalization of services and improvement of execution.This problem requires the efforts of the state,society,community,social workers,and the elderly themselves to create a systematic,professional,and achievable support system,and join hands with various social entities to jointly protect the lives of elderly people who have lost their independence. |
