Research On Job Burnout Of Instructors In X University | | Posted on:2018-03-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:K Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2507306044473624 | Subject:Business Administration | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | As student supervisors of colleges and universities,the instructors are the mainstays in the development of moral education for college students,as well as the psychological education and mental health education.Their responsibilities and work characteristics closely link them with the study and life of college students.Hence,there are several elements to highly influence the ideological and political education and the comprehensive quality of college students:the stand or fall of the instructors’ team construction;the amount of theoretical knowledge;the height of the moral level and the stand or fall of working conditions.The job burnout of instructors will directly affect the success of student affairs.and also affect the physical and mental health and the career prospects of themselves;at the meantime,the stability and development of their universities will also be affected.As shown in the survey,university instructors are the one of the high-risk groups of the job burnout.The liquidity of the instructors’ team is very big in the author’s university.so the author would like to take this opportunity to investigate the instructors in X University.Analyzing the job burnout can verify if it is the main factor of the instability of the instructors’ team.To find which point causes the occurrence of the job burnout among the instructors in X University,and the targeted countermeasures will be proposed.This research uses the questionnaire survey.interview,literature to investigate all the current instructors and a part of former instructors in X University.The research will focus on analyzing and discussing the present situation and the reason of the job burnout of the instructors in X University,and the targeted countermeasures will be proposed.Hopefully through this study,it can strengthen the team building of the instructors and mitigate the job burnout of the instructors in X University.and make a contribution to the stability and efficient development of the instructors’ team in X University.The first chapter of this article mainly introduces the background,the significance,the thoughts and the methods of this research.The second chapter is about the concepts and the theories.It mainly introduces the definition of the instructors,their job responsibilities.the concept of the job burnout among them,the basic theories of the job burnout.and the manifestation of the job burnout.The third chapter uses the questionnaire survey to investigate the job burnout’s status of the instructors in X University,to determine the basic component of the instructors’ team in X University and the status of student affairs.and to understand the status of the instructors’ job burnout.By analyzing the result of the investigation,it can verify whether the job burnout is occurred among these instructors;furthermore.this chapter will analyze the following three dimensions of performance:"the emotional exhaustion"."the depersonalization".and "the low personal accomplishment".Based on the result of the third chapter’s questionnaire,the fourth chapter designs seven interview questions which are based on"the emotional exhaustion","the depersonalization,.and "the low personal accomplishment".There are fifteen current instructors in X University will be interviewed randomly.According to the result of these interviews,this can refine the specific cause of the job burnout of the instructors in X University.The fifth chapter combines the questionnaire’s result and the interviews’ information,and proposes some countermeasures to mitigate the job burnout of the instructors in X University.The sixth chapter draws a conclusion of this article and puts forward a outlook of the future work. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Job burnout, The emotional exhaustion, The depersonalization, The low personal accomplishment | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
