| Interconnection is one of the basic characteristics of globalization,which transcends the boundaries of time and geography,as well as the boundaries of politics,society and culture.This key feature is influenced by various tools,among which language is known as "global literacy skills".In order to cope with the changes brought about by globalization,all countries in the world need to re-examine their language policies to ensure that they have enough language tools,and English is the most influential communication tool in the world.Facing the current situation,we should actively learn from the advanced experience of developed countries in education.Both Japan and China belong to the Confucian cultural circle,which has a great source with China and is the first choice for reference.Therefore,starting from the development of primary English education in China and Japan,this paper makes a comparative study of the current situation of primary English curriculum,teaching materials and teaching methods in the two countries,and finds out their advantages and disadvantages,which is of great significance to promote the research of primary English education in China and guide the practice of primary English education in China.This paper consists of introduction,text and enlightenment.The introduction part states the reason of the topic selection,the research aim and meaning,the research content,the domestic and foreign research achievements,and the research methods.The main body consists of five parts,mainly adopting literature method,comparative method and historical research method.The first part reviews the development history of primary English education in China and Japan,and makes a detailed elaboration and comparative analysis of the changes in primary English education in each period of the two countries;the second part expounds the influence of social culture of China and Japan on primary English education,and analyzes and compares from two aspects of English learning culture and the understanding of the value of primary English education;the third part makes a comparative analysis of the changes in primary English education in the two countries This paper studies the English Curriculum of primary schools in China and Japan,discusses it from two aspects of curriculum objectives and curriculum settings,and makes a comparative analysis based on the characteristics of the English Curriculum of primary schools in the two countries;the fourth part expounds the specific situation of the English textbooks of primary schools in China and Japan,mainly from three aspects of the general situation of the textbooks,the guiding ideology and the compilation theory,and discusses them respectively The fifth part analyzes and compares the primary English teaching methods of China and Japan.On the basis of the comparative analysis of the text,the enlightenment part draws lessons from the reform and development of Japanese primary school English curriculum,teaching materials and teaching methods,summarizes the parts worthy of reference for China’s primary school English education,and puts forward some suggestions for the reform and development of China’s primary school English education. |
