General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed in the 2018 National Education Congress that education is a socialist builder and a successor that requires the development of all-round development of the country,and higher education is the task of developing high-level talents for the nation.As an important part of the higher education in our country,the non-governmental university is also an important base of the personnel training,and the quality of the personnel training is improved,and the key to the improvement of the teaching quality is the higher demand for the teaching quality of the private university.Whether it is in the development of all-round development or the improvement of the teaching quality of the private university,the teaching of physical education should not be ignored.But from the current situation,the private university sports The present situation of teaching is not very optimistic.Based on this,this paper,based on the present situation of the physical education of the private university in Hubei Province,is to adjust the present situation of the physical education in the private university of Hubei Province by means of the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,mathematical statistics and logic analysis.The paper studies the physical education,the extracurricular sports and the sports field facilities,finds out the problems and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures,and provides the reference for the healthy development of the physical education in the private university in Hubei Province.The results of the study are as follows:1.From the point of view of physical education teaching,the use and importance of teaching materials and teaching plans of physical education teachers in private universities in Hubei Province are good,the curriculum is in good condition,the development of female sports is attached great importance to,and the organization of physical education is good.At the same time,the teaching method of teaching content is too traditional,lack of innovation and reform,and the way of sports evaluation is not comprehensive enough and the evaluation rate is low.2.From the point of view of the structure of PE teachers,the number of PE teachers in private colleges in Hubei Province is generally insufficient,and the structure of part-time and full-time is in a state of polarization.And in the academic background,professional title and physical education teachers’ scientific research and continuing education needs to be strengthened.3.After class,the development of extracurricular sports in non-governmental colleges and universities in Hubei Province has achieved some results.Some schools have formed their own special sports projects,and most teachers have participated in the daily training of sports teams.However,most PE teachers have limited training times per week,which can not guarantee the continuous growth of athletes’ performance.At the same time,the number of sports associations in most schools is relatively small,which is not conducive to the students to carry out extracurricular sports activities most conveniently.4.From the point of view of the facilities of sports venues,the construction of sports venues in private colleges and universities in Hubei Province still needs to be strengthened,and it is difficult to satisfy the daily teaching and training,and the satisfaction of most physical education teachers to the sports venues in this school is not high.In response to the above-mentioned problems,the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:1.School leaders strengthen systematic planning to form a higher level of talent training system;physical education teachers according to the specialty characteristics of students to carry out physical education.2.the government should increase publicity and policy and financial support for private colleges and universities,and the schools should increase the introduction of different types of physical education teachers,strengthen training,encourage scientific research,and increase salary and treatment.Physical education teachers set up correct professional attitude and improve comprehensive ability.3.Set up special departments to manage extracurricular sports activities,increase the preparation and support of sports associations,and improve the classification management of physical education teachers.4.We will increase the construction of sports venues and facilities,Multi-channel use of the school open space to start the physical activity,with the full-time personnel to carry out the maintenance and improvement on the physical facilities in the school regularly.
