The theory of multiple intelligences put forward by Howard Gardner,a psychologist at Harvard University,believes that students’ multiple intelligences should be paid attention to in teaching,which is in line with the current educational concept of "student-oriented" and "all-round development" in China.Since ancient times,there has been an important principle in China’s educational philosophy,that is,"teaching students in accordance with their aptitude".The application of the theory of multiple intelligentiescan provide more specific theoretical guidance for teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.The cultivation of the ability to read pictures and write words is an important part of primary school Chinese teaching.In teaching,vivid and intuitive pictures are used to train students’ observation ability,thinking ability and expression ability,so as to promote students’ comprehensive Chinese quality.However,there are many problems in the actual teaching.The training of reading pictures and writing words is related to the development of students’ intelligence in all aspects.Therefore,the theory of multiple intelligences is of great significance to the instruction of reading pictures and writing words.On the basis of fully understanding the requirements of primary school Chinese curriculum standards and the current teaching situation of reading pictures and writing words,this paper proposes the topic of cultivating the ability of reading pictures and writing words of primary school students at lower levels through the guidance of multiple intelligences theory.By analyzing the cognitive development and intelligence level of elementary school students at the lower level,this paper studies the teaching contents and methods of reading and writing pictures,and holds that the theory of multiple intelligences is an important way to realize the teaching goal of reading and writing pictures.This paper has understood the current primary school low paragraph students in reading and writing in the difficulties and teachers encountered in teaching problems,found that primary school low paragraph reading and writing lack of targeted training,lack of good learning methods and teaching means.To solve these problems,study and put forward the common development of multiple intelligences and conform to the principle of the situation of students’ intelligence,the choice of teaching resources and development should be from based on teaching materials,combine reading and relying on the three aspects of life,and the multiple intelligences theory of eight kinds of intelligence to redraw combination,study and formulate the picture writing teaching the five kinds of actual application.They are:creating a rich situation with the integrated application of multiple intelligences;Using spatial intelligence and natural exploration intelligence to improve students’ observation and perception;Applying logic intelligence and language intelligence to help students understand and express.Using sports intelligence and music intelligence to improve students’ writing ability and emotional experience;The application of interpersonal intelligence and self-knowledge intelligence provides a platform for students to communicate and evaluate.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that the theory of multiple intelligences plays a positive role in innovating the teaching method of reading pictures and writing words.At the same time,it can improve students’ interest in writing words,promote students’ humanistic quality and improve the quality of Chinese teaching.
