Education is a systematic project combining family,school and society.In the current context of education reform,parents’ participation in school affairs has become a hot issue of common concern for scholars.The physical and mental development of students in primary school is not yet mature.In this period,schools and families play an important role in guiding their full-time development.Through a semester of communication in Taiwan,the author found that,Parents’ participation in school affairs has always been an important measure of primary education reform in Taiwan,Primary school parents’ participation in school affairs in Taiwan has extended from family to campus.Parents’ participation in school affairs is not only a right but also a duty.It advocates that schools can maximize the effectiveness of home school cooperation through cooperation with families,parents’ participation and the assistance of the whole society.In this study,the core concept of "parents participating in school affairs" is defined as that parents and schools share the responsibility of students’ cultivation and growth.Through the establishment of a series of parent committees and parents participating in school management systems,community family activities are organized,communication links between parents and schools are established,and a healthy and good growth environment is created for students.In this paper,"parents’ participation in school affairs" refers to the establishment of parent committee and related systems to encourage and attract parents to participate in school administration,teaching,life and other related affairs,so as to promote home school cooperation and create a good environment for students’ healthy growth.Firstly,this study makes a deep reading of the literature about primary school parents’participation in school affairs,extracts,summarizes and summarizes the previous research results,and grasps the relevant research status.On this basis,using the methods of investigation and interview,taking the current situation of parents’participation in school affairs of f primary school in Y City of Taiwan Province as an example,this paper discusses the experience and characteristics of parents’participation in school affairs in the six dimensions of school administration decision,campus construction and beautification,school activity participation,parent vocational education,student guidance and management,development and utilization of community resources.Through interviews and data statistics and analysis by spss22.0,it is found that the advanced experience of parents’ participation in school affairs in Taiwan’s primary schools mainly includes:the education department formulates exact laws to protect parents’ right to participate in school affairs,the running scholars maintain positive attitude towards parents’ participation in school affairs,the school formulates effective system for parents’ participation in school affairs,and the parents’ participation in school affairs is brought into play The functions of various roles in school affairs provide parents with various ways to participate in school affairs in an all-round way.These advanced experiences have profound implications for improving parents’ participation in school affairs in China’s mainland.Education departments in China’s mainland need to formulate relevant regulations to protect parents’ right to participate in school affairs,schools need to highlight parents’ regulatory functions in school management,schools should make full use of information technology to expand communication platform between parents and schools,and schools and teachers need to comprehensively improve parents’ participation in schools Knowledge of affairs.
