Social Workers’ Intervention To Wounded Woman Who Meets With Husband’s Affair

Family is a happy haven for people. A happy marriage can make people more confident, happier and people are more likely to get success. However, family has become more vulnerable in the modern society. Among them, the affair is a big killer of family stability.In today’s society, the affair is very common. It has cast a shadow over the vulnerable marriage. This paper researches these women, who are hurt by her husband’s affair. And it aims to reduce their unhappiness, find out the cause of the affair by psychological counseling. In this way, they will find their heart will be more free. This paper comes up with the group of maintaining conjugal relation, with hope of their better, healthier relationship by their joint effort.This paper is divided into four parts:the first part is "family social workers’listening to those women. On one hand, Listening can help release their long-repressed-negative emotions; on the other hand, it can be beneficial to family social workers and these women for the establishment of trust relationship. The second part tells us the secret of the affair, especially for men. Because of her husband’s affair, women usually will feel inferiority and have some self-doubt, irrational emotions. Revealing the cause of the affair can help these women get a correct understanding of it, and they can face up to the root of the problems, and find a solution to the problem actively, and no longer in a self-doubt, self degeneration of circulation. The third part is the core of this paper, that is, carrying out group of maintaining conjugal relation, to improve the relationship between husband and wife. The emergence of an affair, is a serious red light of marriage, which means marriage has had a severe problem, and the relationship between husband and wife is in urgent need of repairing. Group of maintaining conjugal relationworks through series of activities, and aims to improve the communication between husband and wife, increase the trust of the husband and wife. In the fourth part of the thesis is some tips about how to make the group more efficient,including encouraging husband’s active participation and what are dos and what should be avoided for family social workers. In addition, this part gives some advances about how to develop a benignant relationship between husband and wife, how to repair the relationship between husband and wife, and how to keep group’s effect for a long period of time.This article tries the intervention to the women who are hurt by husbands’affair, and it comes from the perspective of the theory of the family system, combining with the family communication theory. Its purpose is to help improve the quality of the relationship between husband and wife, ascending happiness index of both marriage and family. Because of many reasons, the affair is more common in the modern society. So this research has certain practical significance, for social harmony and stability of the family.
