Objectives: At present sedentarism has become a common way of life,it could induce different types of physiological changes and metabolic disorders,and increase the risk of suffer bad body posture problems.The health and quality of life of university students is under health risk,it’s due to their sedentary live styles induces them to spend long period of time studying and most of the time they suffer of high levels of stress.The main purpose of this study is by practicing traditional Chinese sport therapy: “Ba Duan Jin” find a new rehabilitation treatment for people with Forward head posture and/or round shoulder posture on university students with scapular dyskinesis.Also,spread traditional Chinese culture and traditional Chinese medicine exercise therapy.And based on a proper theory base stablish a new rehabilitation treatment plan to guide the clinical practice.Method: 40 students(10 male students and 30 female students)with bad shoulder/neck posture and scapular dyskinesis were selected.Subsequently the group was divided into2 small groups: experimental group(B group)and control group(C group).Using internet(We Chat APP)as a method of direct communication,C group was given every week(3 times/week)tips about health education(stretching exercise and right body posture indications).For experimental group Ba Duan Jin exercise and health education tips were given during 6 weeks(3 times/week;every time 60 min.).before and after experiment FSA,RSA,SI,SDT,LSST,Active Maximum Internal/External rotation test,Upper body Y balance test,CKCUEST and Dash questionnaire were used as a test method.The Paired simple T test was used as a statistical analysis method to compare the internal group results.And,the Variance analysis method was used to measure the change between the two groups.Results: After 6 weeks of intervention,Ba Duan Jin group(B group)showed a clear change on the results of FHA,RSA,SI,LSST,Maximum internal/external rotation test,Y-balance and CKCUEST.Among them FHA and maximum internal rotation test’s results have statistical significance(P<0.05).SDT and DASH questionnaire result after same period of time,did not show any change.Within the control group,after 6 weeks of experiment,and except for RSA,Y-Balance test and CKCUEST,it did not show statistical changes.Conclusions: 1、Ba Duan Jin exercise can modified FHA and RSA,therefore improve the body posture.2、Ba Duan Jin can be used to improve the scapular resting position and its dynamic state.3、Ba Duan Jin exercise,throughout specific shoulder muscle training can improve the functionality of upper extremity and its stability. |
