Research On Visual Search Characteristics Of One-on-one Defensive Football Players At Different Levels In Colleges And Universities

One to one defense is the most basic part of football.The development of modern football puts forward higher requirements for the cognitive decision-making ability of players.Vision is the premise of perception and decision-making.Therefore,the ability of visual search of football players determines the effect of subsequent decision-making.This research combines one-to-one defense of football and eye movement recording technology of psychology,and uses portable eye movement instrument to obtain the eye movement characteristics of different football players in Colleges and Universities under the situation of one-to-one defense of real football.Through comparative analysis,it finds out the visual search characteristics of high-level football players in Colleges and Universities,as well as the key clue area of one-to-one defense of football,which is sufficient The training methods and means of ball one-to-one defense technology provide theoretical reference.This study mainly uses experimental method.Taking football players of different levels in Colleges and universities as the experimental objects,this paper conducts a real situation experiment of one-to-one defense task in football.The experimental design is 2(Group: high level group and low level group)× 2(defensive result:defensive success and defensive failure)× 5(area of interest: upper body,hip and thigh,knee and calf,foot and ball,foot and ball front area).Inter group independent variable: group;intra group independent variable: Defense result and interest area.Dependent variables: defensive behavior index and eye movement behavior index.Defensive behavior indicators include defense success rate and scene time;eye movement behavior indicators include average fixation time,average fixation times,average pupil diameter,relative fixation time and relative fixation times.Based on the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the experiment and the previous studies,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the real situation of football one-to-one defense task,higher level football players have higher success rate,higher visual search efficiency and fewer eye fixations that have a longer duration in the key areas compared with lower level football players.(2)In the real situation of football one-to-one defense task,the visual search mode of university football players of different levels is the same,mainly focusing on the foot and the ball,as well as the foot and the front area of the ball,with the ball as the center for visual search.(3)It is suggested that low-level college athletes can improve their professional cognitive ability and narrow the gap with high-level athletes through football specific cognitive training or watching videos.Moreover,in the actual football one-to-one defense practice and competition,players can use the ball centered visual search mode.
