| In the NBA,choosing the right basketball tactics in clutch time is the most important thing to win the game.As a basketball tactics,screen is widely used in clutch time.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the regular pattern and application of screen in clutch time for the tactical choice of basketball games in China.In this dissertation,using the methods of literature,video observation and statistics,expert interviews and other research methods,we studied the application of screen in2014-2019 NBA playoffs.Based on the statistical analysis of the screen statistical indicators,this dissertation deeply analyzed the change characteristics of the screen in space,time,effect and other aspects in clutch time of NBA playoffs in the past five years,and expounds the differences and rules of the use of screen between the leading team and the lagging team.Finally,the following conclusions are summed up:1.In terms of screen area,NBA screen area has gradually expanded from the free throw line to the three-point line,and the attack selection has gradually moved from the inside line to the three-point line.The aim of screen is no longer to post-up,but to choose the three-point ball as the first important point of attack.The proportion of pick with ball is increasing year by year,while the proportion of off ball screen is opposite.In terms of screen cooperation time,in the past five years,5-10 seconds and 10-15 seconds are the two most frequent intervals,accounting for more than 85%.In the aspect of screen effect,the proportion of breakthrough increased year by year,while the effect of other screen changed little.In terms of scoring methods,the screened is the primary choice of screen cooperation tactics,in which the screened has the highest percentage of breakthrough or shooting.In the form of defense,follow defense is still the main choice of defense,defense will often be based on the weakness of the other side’s defense,most of the suspended defense is the active change of defense.2.The screen cooperation in clutch time is often not used alone,often with other basic attack cooperation.Backwardness team applies the rule of screen cooperation:compared with the 3-1 point interval,backwardness team uses less screen cooperation in 5-4 points.No matter how many points are behind,three-point shooting is the first attack choice.In 5-4 minutes,no matter 5-4 points and 3-1 points behind,the team will follow the arrangement before the game and proceed step by step.But in a minute,5-4points behind,the team will speed up the pace of attack,in order to complete the attack in 12 seconds.3-1 points behind,they will seek time out.The proportion of multiple screen will greatly increase in the 10 s.3.The leading team applies the rule of screen cooperation: like the lagging team,no matter how many points are ahead,the team’s playing method is the regular playing method within 5-4 minutes before the end of the game,and does not pursue deliberate changes.But in the last minute,the attack usually focuses on consuming time,often does not use screen cooperation,the purpose of cover cooperation has also changed,not scoring but controlling the ball.4.Compared with the leading team,the laggard team uses more positioning cover at the clutch time,and uses less pick and roll coordination.In terms of defense mode,the laggard team is more willing to adopt radical defense mode,while the leading team pursues the speed of changing defense.In order to narrow the gap and strive to win,the lagging teams usually seek for tactical changes,which will lead to some unconventional cover cooperation.The leading teams like their familiar playing methods to win steadily. |
